I just read through this thread. To make sure I understood it correctly: it's the wall wart that should turn green and not the light on the charger itself. True? And it's normal for the battery to become hot when charging? I don't mean warm. I mean hot. I took it off the charger and let it sit in the middle of the kitchen counter. 20 minutes later, it had cooled off some but was still hot.

got the charger yesterday and was a little flabbergasted. The wall part always is green and the charger itself is always red. Seems like this is not the most consistent product. I took it off the charger after about 4 hours and it had a charge of about 5.75 on my multimeter. So from an earlier post i guess this is about what the nominal charge should be. Unlike everybody else my battery was not hot. Cant say i am very comfortable with the quality of this charger, but i love the 5volt battery on my Phidias with an IKENVAPE 3.5 atty. I will buy more of these but would hope that a better charger becomes available. I guess no one has had one of these suckers explode, which makes me feel better as well.
