I recieved my volcano wed and hadn't looked to analogs since until today. I was spreading the news like wild fire letting people try my ecig and actually sharring half of my kit with the 40+yr smoker that I carpool with, his kit will be here tue.

So I ran out of cartridges last night, took all the used and sucked them dry and filled up two, more carts and liquids will be here tomorrow.

I went all day with out nicotine at all(tried the snus not the same) and finaly had to cave in and smoke... this crap sux even after five days I don't know why I ever smoked, still need it though. Starting to feel like crap again already. :( a slight stumble I've learned my lesson= be stingy and order lots of carts and liquids.

IKA -- I'm not sure what you feel is "soon" when you refer to waiting on your juice order to arrive. For me... anything beyond half a day would have me climbing the walls. There's just no way I can fall back to tobacco again. Trying to smoke again would prolly make me sicker-than-a-dog!

What I can suggest is to perhaps use the snus (for the nic) and keep vaping with the no-nic juice til your order arrives. That's assuming of course you've still got enough 0-mg juice to last til then.

But if you ever find yourself in major pinch without any juice again...then what you could also do is this:

* take a few snus packets and soak 'em in ethanol (everclear) for a couple hours. Use only just enough alcohol to slightly over-saturate the snus packets. Some folks claim that overnight is good...but a couple hours works just fine in my book.

* remove the packets (squeeze out all the liquid first) and then mix that solution with glycerin at about a 25% ratio (1 part snus-sol to 3-or-4 parts glycerin). From there you may want to cut the strength even further with more VG or possibly VG+H2O. (**If you use H20 to thin the VG.. then only use distilled water at no more that 20% with the VG)

You can easily find glycerin USP (VG)..at most any drugstore nowadays.

cheers,
fisch;)

no worries in that one Lukenm, if it weren't for the fact of running out of supplies I still wouldn't touch'em. After trying all quit smoking tools the change to ecigs was as easy as opening the box. I just needed the nicotine in an inhaled form, the snus just isn't enough. 9:30am tomorrow will be better though, usps should be at my office:thumbs:

Quitting tobacco is an ongoing task. It usually doesn't happen overnight. Don't be hard on yourself for a cig or two now and then. When I started i went from 2 packs a day to 5 cigs a day, then to 3 a day. Those last three were hard to get rid of. It took me 3 months, lol You can do this and everyone here is more than willing to help any way then can!

You were smoking, now you're smoking and vaping, before long you will be vaping. It's a transition don't kick yourself for smoking, just realize that you like vaping more than smoking. That and get a bunch of juice and attys so you don't come uo short. If you truly want to put down tobacco, the E-cig will give you that ability without misery. Good Luck, but you don't need luck you just need to work through the process.

techtony, don't beat yourself up. Lessons learned -you like vaping and -stock up. Those are 2 easy lessons to learn imho. I have so much crap I'll never use it all and I still have an analog here and there. Oh well, look at my counter...4100+ cigs NOT SMOKED in 104 days!!! Smile and vape away as soon as your stuff comes and it was really nice of you to share your vape with your carpooler....you may have saved their life since they have a kit coming now too. ;)
