I knew I smoked 2 PAD but when you have a little counter banner adding up how many cigs you've avoided, it hits home.
When I smoked I was treated as sane but with a bad habit. When I vape they think I'm insane with a bad habit. That's why I never listen to they.

Congrats man. I hit 6 months the other day myself.
I didn't think it would be this easy to stop after 20 years of smoking.
Thats like my father poo pooed about me starting to vape. Saying if I did quit smoking why am I paying money to do this? Plus he is a smoker too but he don't want to take the time to even learn about vaping. I told him I liked it and it was a hecka lot cheaper then smoking but he wouldn't listen.....oh well!
I just went to lunch with friends I've known forever. When vaping came up one said, switching from one addiction to another. He is like grownups were when I was young. This is my opinion, don't want to hear about it. ^^Like your father.
I didn't give him the vape advantages. If he doesn't care about my opinion then I could care less about his.
What really amazes me? The people that don't like vaping are probably carrying around issues many times worse. That's why they are all irrelevant to me. >>Don't you cheat on your wife? Is it safe to weigh 450? I hear you drink and drive, etc etc.

Don't let the naysayers get you down. If they don't like what you do, too bad for them. You'll be attending their funerals, not the other way around. Maybe we are all trading one addiction for another, but it's gotta be a safer addiction. It's just gotta be.
I've given up caring what other people think, if they don't like what I do, the h..l with them. I KNOW that I'm healthier than I was when I smoked. They see my ProVari & ask how much it costs & I tell them. They say "holy crap, those ecigs are expensive." But at almost $8 a pack & 1 1/2 packs a day, it's not more than 18 days of stinkies.

You know, it dawned on me I am just a few days from the six month mark. Seems like its been longer in some ways, more recent in other. Congrats! It is a nice feeling isn't it?
