When I first started, I would vape almost non stop all evening if I was sitting at the pc (which I do a lot in the evening to unwind from work), and I was only a part time evening smoker (and since i didn't smoke in the house, I probably only smoked a cig about once every hour). I have since calmed it down a lot, but if i did a puff to puff comparison to vaping/smoking, I probably "puff" more on the ecig.
I attribute this to the convenience factor, vs any addiction factor. The e-cig to me is way LESS addictive, as it is an 'out of sight out of mind' thing for me. But since I can vape anywhere in the house, I end up with more 'puffs' per hour than when I smoked.
