Hello, I must say, I haven't scavenged this entire forum for what I'm looking for, but I've been searching the internet for an ego style pass through. More specifically I've been searching for a battery that's higher than 3.7 volts, acts a passthrough (I.E. usb), and holds a charge greater than 500 maw.

A good example of what I'm looking for is nearly identical to the "ego passthrough" and the "volcano inferno passthrough", except greater than 3.7 volts. Does anybody know if even such a thing exists and if so could someone present me with some recommendations?

Thanks for your help:)

Between typing this post 2 other posts were made... replying to "chartz" lol

I am slightly confused as to what you are saying, but I want to "be a pass through" I guess? I've never actually owned, or tried for that matter an ego pass through as I described. I suppose that I may not understand the whole concept of how they work, but am hoping it might be possible to find the exact same thing but with great power output while having the battery be a pass through holding a charge.

I've heard the term High drain batteries thrown around a bit, perhaps I am looking for a high drain passthrough battery?

Btw, I'm vaping right this instance the exact thing you linked :p

they make passthroughs.....only passthroughs, no battery stores power and you can't leave your power source.

The also make batteries that have a usb port that lets you charge it while it is being vaped. As long as it is mostly charged, it will stay at it's peak voltage. They do not make a true passthrough that does not drain from the battery while it is being vaped. The highest ego type is 4.2v

You may have to read that twice.....but I think I'm making sense????

If you wanna be Wired to a USB or Electrical outlet your gonna be limited to the # of volts... Get a VV mod and just recharge the battery...my 3 and 1/3 cents
Very logical explanation. I may be a bit particular about what I'm searching for. But I love my 5v pass through enough too just want to take it everywhere with the practicality of not having to plug it into a wall all the time.

A PC USB only outputs the standard 5v 500mA

500mA is not nearly enough to run many atomizers and cartomizers which may require 2 amps or more (2000mA or more). You need to use a 2amp or 3mp USB to AC adapter - else you risk damaging the computer and/or are not really vaping the watts you think you are.

A 3.4 (Ego) to 3.7v passthrough with a real inline battery can be used on a PC USB because all those do is charge the battery while you are vaping off the battery.

This really did answer my entire thread, however I was trying to make an example of the ego that was a 3.7v vape. Where might a find a 4.2v version of the ego with the usb port?
