Okay I know this might sound like a stupid question and it probably is but I'm gonna give it a go.

I know how the pass thru works and everything but if I buy a 5v one for my 510 attys does this mean is pretty much the same thing as using a 5v mod? Because I'm usually around a usb port lol (office and home) so I would love to actually see how good 5v vaping is. So this mean I can get to experience this for less than 20 dollars? If it is that would be awesome. Also I hear I shouldn't use low res attys with 5v is this true? What is the suggested ohm on an atty for 5v? Thanks for all the help.

Bandu out! :vapor:

Yes it will be 5v regulated just like a 5v mod if you use an adapter and not a computer USB port. You need a usb/ac adapter rated at 2 amps or more for the pass through. 3.7 pass throughs with inline battery are ok to use on a computers usb port but with a 5v pt the amperage draw can be more than the port is designed for. It could harm your computer, port or at the very least you likely won't be getting a full 5v vape from it.

AC Adapters are not expensive and will also allow you ot use the pass through when your not around a computer which is a big plus for me personally.

2 amp AC to USB Adapter, ideal for Passthroughs
