50/50, 60/40, 23 skidoo what is this and why should I care?

Hi guys,

Thanks for the nice welcome to the forums! Hopefully the title says it all - I've read vague explainations online but nothing I can grok. Can anyone explain the vg/pg and ratios and what they affect? If there is an FAQ for this topic I'll be happy if someone points me to it.

Pg carries flavors better and allows more nic throat hit to come through, taste is neutral.
Vg produces more vapor & slightly mutes flavors, taste is slightly sweet.
Pg/Vg ratio is a matter of personal preference, I vape 50/50 mostly.

VG is also thicker, so high VG content may make some juices not wick well in certain hardware.

Why you should care? Like with everything in vaping, it all comes down to preference Different people prefer different ratios to get their desired vaping experience. Also some people are sensitive to PG and can only handle up to a certain amount.

And some are sensitive to VG, some flavorings are more problematic than either pg/vg.
