50/50, 70/30, ?/?

So I've been vaping 50/50 juice for about a month now. I happened to stop by another shop and bought some 70/30 juice. I know the higher the PG the harsher the hit but this juice seems soooooo much smoother to me. And I'm not about the throat hit at all so I feel like I would notice a harsher hit. I bought 3 juices and they all hit smoothly, so I don't think it was just a fluke juice. What's my deal?

I believe that 70/30 is the most common ratio for premixed juices. I use it a lot in my DIY juices and find it flows better in the KFL style atomizers.

If the abreviation is left off, would it be 70PG/30VG or 70VG/30PG. Is there a set standard?

The "more PG the harsher the hit" is a rule of thumb not taking other variables into account. Examples of other variables are Flavors (tobacco, Melon, citrus, menthol, etc.), flavoring carrier (flavors with PG or alcohol), nicotine (nicotine level and quality), and other additives (added alcohol or other throat hit enhancers) .

The shop I go to mixes all their own, and the vg is listed first. I usually get 60vg/40pg, unless it's for my dripper, then it's 80vg/20pg
