501's and 808's

Hi Everyone,

OK Then,
I do know 510 is what I meant to say, not 501 and I could make up a bunch of reasons but stupidity really about sums it up!

I've looked around the site and still don't know what we have as far as 510 and 808's and I really what to know what types we have here! My daughter has the Envy Nirvana brand and I have two, the V2 and the EverSmoke. Tried to figure it out looking at photos but am still unsure, once I know what all we've got I'll have even more questions!
Another question about batteries while I'm at it... my daughter's on a super tight budget and got the $19.99 kit from Envy. It only included the USB charger and she has used her cell phone wall charger and my EverSmoke wall charger to plug the USB into for faster charging. Is this OK to do?

You can call or email those companies and ask if they are 510 or 808's pretty quick?

The wall adapter is probably ok to use. What you want is to not mix the actual charger that the ecig screws into. Use only the ones that came with each ecig.

Almost certainly you can use your wall charger to plug your usb charger into, and it will charge much faster than say plugging the usb charger into the usb port on your computer.

The basic most simple and not foolproof way I tell between a 510 and an 808 is either the batter is the male and the carto is the female (808) or the carto is the male and the battery is the female (510).

I am in the beginning stages of all this as well. The V2 is 808D-1, here is a link with some compatibility info: SmokenJoey (there is a link to a video on that page as well)

While the Eversmoke may be 808D-2 threads... I find conflicting info here vs. there

I have no info on the Envy, sorry. This is all little more than speculation based on research. Personally i started with BLU (510 threads) and currently us a Halo G6 (808D-1 threads) with carts and/or mini tank. I have been off of tobacco/analogs for almost a month now, but am becoming addicted to the massive amounts of gear out there for vaping...LOL

V2 is definitely 808 so try screwing the other stuff onto it. If it fits its 808 if it doesn't it's 510 and vice versa.

Yes plugging the USB into any wall charging USB should be fine.

How sad is this...Took your advice and called EverSmoke customer service, they have no idea what type their battery is. I did learn that EverSmoke is a sister company to South Beach Smoke at a magazine site, the url is EverSmoke Review

Called V2 and of course a quick response KR808D-1 which we already knew!

Lastly, I discovered Envy Nirvana is neither 510 orKR808D-1, they are L88B.

genrally, 510's are a female connection battery and 808's are a male connection battery. or some companies just use there own whatever connection

It is no fun buying vaping gear that is neither 808 or 510, only because you are kind of stuck with some dead end vaping stuff. But so many people here have figured that out the hard way.
