Hello I finally got around to trying out my 502 rda but the only squonker I have right now is the Kangertech Dripbox 160. I keep getting a check atomizer error when i put the rda on. I've tried other RDAs so the dripbox is working fine and my coil master tab mini does fire the 502 rda so I don't think the RDA itself is an issue. I'm thinking that the 510 pins just aren't making connection? Thoughts? It's juicing fine but just not reading at the correct ohms, it's reading as if there's no RDA on the mod.

As the 510 on the mod is not adjustable, you're likely right... The 510 on the atty is short.

Thanks! Other people are suggesting the same thing. I'll try loosening the 510 on the RDA a bit, regardless I plan to use it with the pulse 80w so hopefully when that arrives the connection is fine.
yes it does and draws back the extra, which i suppose is part of squonking but i saw a review that showed the 502 not sucking back the extra juice but mine works fine
$10 for a clone might be worth taking a chance but $100+ for an authentic? Sorry no way especially when an idiot like Jai Haze is involved. IN MY OPINION the 502 is just way more complicated than any RDA has to be. My Lucid is made for vertical coils but can use horizontal coils. It also isn't restricted to smaller coils. I have an authentic Lucid. The clone has some big differences that make it bad. Different strokes.

i have a Lucid clone also that works well enough, its got the post clamps that are crooked but performs ok, i get a good vape
I got a Lucid clone to compare it to the authentic. It worked ok but the quality was bad. I gave the clone to my son to play with. the drip box 510 are notorious for sticking... they are more of a floating 510 than a spring loaded so if the atty that you were using had a longer pin the mod 510 is probably still stuck at that depth.....take a small flat screw driver and GENTLY pry 510 up a bit and see if that works
