All five of George Foreman's sons are named George Foreman.

Boxing legend and famous grill salesman George Foreman named all of his sons after him: George Jr, George III, George IV, George V, and George VI.

"If you're going to get hit as many times as I've been hit by Mohammad Ali, Joe Frazier, Ken Norton, Evander Holyfield - you're not going to remember many names."

He also has a daughter named Georgetta, and another daughter named Freda George. The rest of his daughters aren't named after him.

"at one point my wife said, 'Look, I'll remember their names.' "

There are POISONOUS BIRDS!

This bird, called the Hooded Pitohui, was discovered back in 1990. It has since been named the "most poisonous bird" by the Guinness Book of World Records! Its feathers and skin contain the powerful nerve toxin homobatrachotoxin, which is the same poison secreted by the famous dart frogs of South America! Touching the bird can cause numbness and tingling.

Scientists suppose that the bird acquires its poison from eating the Choresine beetle, a toxic bug that is also a favorite food source for poison dart frogs. Also, some other Pitouhi species have developed similar coloring as their highly poisonous cousins, to warn off any potential predators.

His 1977 country hit, "Way Down," was the #1 song on Billboard magazine's country singles chart the week of Elvis' death. Nine other songs would go to #1 on Billboard's country charts between 1956 and 1981: "I Forgot to Remember to Forget," "Heartbreak Hotel," "I Want You, I Need You, I Love You," and the two-sided #1 hit "Hound Dog/Don't Be Cruel" (all 1956); "All Shook Up," "(Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear" and "Jailhouse Rock" (all 1957); "Moody Blue" (1977); and "Guitar Man" (1981, a remixed version released more than three years after his death). Most of his 1950s #1 country hits were also #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 as well.

Comedian Demetri Martin wrote a poem that reads the same forward and backwards!

You all probably know what a palindrome is - something that can be read the same either way, like ‘noon,’ ‘radar’, or even ‘on a clover, if alive, erupts a vast, pure evil; a fire volcano‘. Wordsmith Demetri Martin decided to take this phenomenon to the nth degree by composing his very own 224-word ‘palindroem’. I don’t know what’s scarier to me - the amount of time and effort Martin had to put into writing this or the likelihood that he thoroughly enjoyed every second!

Presenting “Dammit I’m Mad” by Demetri Martin:

“Dammit I’m mad.

Evil is a deed as I live.

God, am I reviled? I rise, my bed on a sun, I melt.

To be not one man emanating is sad. I piss.

Alas, it is so late. Who stops to help?

Man, it is hot. I’m in it. I tell.

I am not a devil. I level “Mad Dog”.

Ah, say burning is, as a deified gulp,

In my halo of a mired rum tin.

I erase many men. Oh, to be man, a sin.

Is evil in a clam? In a trap?

No. It is open. On it I was stuck.

Rats peed on hope. Elsewhere dips a web.

Be still if I fill its ebb.

Ew, a spider… eh?

We sleep. Oh no!

Deep, stark cuts saw it in one position.

Part animal, can I live? Sin is a name.

Both, one… my names are in it.

Murder? I’m a fool.

A hymn I plug, deified as a sign in ruby ash,

A ...... level I lived at.

On mail let it in. I’m it.

Oh, sit in ample hot spots. Oh wet!

A loss it is alas (sip). I’d assign it a name.

Name not one bottle minus an ode by me:

“Sir, I deliver. I’m a dog”

Evil is a deed as I live.

Dammit I’m mad.”

A mushroom in Oregon is 3 ½ miles wide.

The Armillaria ostoyae, more commonly known as the honey mushroom, began as a microscopic spore and has been constantly growing and taking over eastern Oregon's Malheur National Forest for the past 2,400 years!

This mushroom is the LARGEST LIVING ORGANISM EVER FOUND. It spans 2,200 acres - which is an area equivalent to 1,665 football fields!!! As it grows, it covers the forest and kills trees!

We're coming up on 3500 posts in this contest, and I think this is one of the best posts yet!

Very, very cool Debra!

"Second Street" is the most common street name in the United States.

Somehow "First Street" came in third place behind "Third Street"! This is probably because in many towns, the first street gets a different name like "Main Street" or is named after a historical figure like George Washington.
