Okay so I ordered this adapter and been having bad luck so far. The first one I received was defective due to no threads being machined. So Adam sent me another one(thank you adam) and the new one is all there but I cannot get it to fire on any of my devices. I submitted another ticket and explained my situation. So I will probably resubmit my inquiry with a video showing it not being able to fire and take pics of the ohm specs to verify my attys are not doa and its not user error.

But is it possible to exchange for the shorty version? If not I can just buy another adapter no biggie I just want it to work =)

Also it seems like the connection is pertruding a few mm too low or high I cannot tell

Check the center pin. Sometimes those get pushed down too far and they won't make a connection with anything. Try a pair of tweezers and wiggle that center pin up a little bit. I had the same issue with on of mine and that fixed it right up.
