510-901 (krd808d-1) adapter that WORKS??? Help Please

Hi everyone,

I need a 510-901 adapter that works. I've made some bloog 808 tanks, and want to use them on my new lava tube. but the adapter I got from liberty flights doens't work!

I've tried screwing the post but that doesn't work, both sides turn and nothing moves up or down.


Can someone please tell me where to get an adapter that will work? I've taken all the time to research, order, and make my tanks. Now I just want to USE them!

ecigexpress.com is where I got my adapters. They have a low profile gold 510-->901/808 that has worked for all my stuff except

the occasional Cool-Cart. And just a touch with the emery paper fixed that....

So are you saying that if I sand the contacts, that might help?

I just tried the conector and carto on an ego battery.. it works.

So why won't it work on my lava tube???

Mine wouldn't screw into the carto all the way on some so I just took a little off the last thread, didn't take much....

well it is conecting to the carto, hence it working on an ego bat.

maybe it's not long enough for the lava tube conection?

Would suggest the one from provape Popeye sir, or the one from v4l.

I use this one daily with no issues at all.

I've been using one from GP for 10 mnths with passtroughs and batteries w/o any problems.
