I only have a 510 now and want to try different atomizers and cartos. I also just ordered a Chuck and along with it, I ordered the adapter Jeff sells that says it's an adapter for 510 to 801/901 with air channel use with cartomizers. I also ordered one from Altsmoke that says it's 510 to 901/KR808/Greencig. Is there any difference between these adapters because Altsmoke also sells one for use with the 510 battery to 801?

I think Jeff's is actually a set of TWO adapters - one 510-901/KI, and one 510-801. I have these on order from him but his shipment was still in transit from China so he shipped my Chuck without them -

So now I'm waiting on 501 atomizers I ordered from a US supplier as well as the ones that Jeff will send when he gets them in (and I ordered some extras from China which ought to be here by my birthday in February, since some of the Chinese vendors are saying to expect at least double the usual lead timses for orders placed in the holiday season).

But I have two other 901 chucks and plenty of 901 atomizers and cartomizers that work with them with a 901-KR I got a while ago.

I dread the thought that I may actually have to get organized to keep all the little pieces separated so I know what they are!

Oh good! Then I can try 801s on my 6V Chuck and cartomizers! I've been researching cartomizers all day and my brain is fried. I've been looking at Vapor4Life's site trying to decide which cartos to get and there are so many to decide upon! Anyone here have recommendations on them? I was thinking about getting the tobacco sampler pack and maybe orange juice and peach cobbler. Is 3.7 the most effective use of cartos on the Chuck or how does everyone use them here?

Can't speak for the 6volters but for me the 3.7 on a Little Chuck with cartos has been sweet...
I'm using the Altsmoke 510->901/KR adapter (got it before Jeff started selling 'em).
I can't tell exactly why, but the cartos on the Chuck vape better than on either the standard KR808D1 batt's or Vapor4Life manual batt's I use. I mean, they're all 3.7v, so theoretically all my Little Chuck should give is more vaping life on a single charge, with more consistency right up until the end of the battery life, but for some reason I get more vapor and flavor on the Little Chuck than on the stock batteries...those are now relegated to quick trips out and about when I just need the smaller battery to carry.

Don't really have a suggestion I was debating whether or not to add the adapters and try cartomizers. My concern is how long they last. I drip because I hate fiddling with carts but. Dripping is inconvent unless I am home just wondering if caretomizer would be a better choice all around. So I too am intrested if anyone has information

You can't beat the convenience of the carto's. They're all I've used, since I started my ecig life with a KR808D-1 so as soon as I saw DaMulta using cartos on his Chuck, I went straight for the Chuck as my first mod.

As I have a Little Chuck, it's strictly 3.7v, and I'm not a chain vaper so your mileage may vary, but a new carto will last me about a day. I've been refilling my cartos for awhile, generally just topping them off every night, so I can't say exactly how long they last now--I try not to vape them down to the burnt taste and carry a couple with me for variety and in case I run one down.

Again, as the cartos are completely portable, it makes traveling with them a whole lot easier...just grab a spare battery, 3 or 4 carto's and I'm out the door. If one dries up, I just screw on another one and keep on vapin' :) You completely avoid the whole "dripping, priming, refilling, dead atty, carrying another whole basic setup" situations with the cartos...

I don't think you're really going to get flavor recommendations - everyone has different tastes. Just get something that is like a flavor you like in e-juice.

Remember that when your original runs dry, you can refill it with any e-juice you like.

I ordered several flavors from V4L and they sent me two free cartomizers, pear (white) and grape (purple). I've refilled the pear one with pear juice, but I don't have any grape (and it was ok, but I like a lot of other flavors better), so I refilled it with Cinnamon Danish juice.

I like the blank carto's... since I have a huge supply of my favorite juices!

Cartos are really convienent for out and about, even at home. I hate dripping, hate fiddling with the regular carts so I tried the cartomizers with my Chucks. They ROCK!! I'll never go back to regular carts/atomizers. At least I hope I don't ever have to do that!

Thanks, arkangel! What are your favorite flavors of cartomizers from V4L? And have you tried any other brands like the Greencigs? I am wondering what the best flavor is from them and if they are worth the expense?
Sorry for the delay, spaced out on this thread: I've only used the V4L carto's (not counting the crappy tobacco ones that came with my first KR starter kit), although I've been tempted by others to try the Greencig ones.

I like their 555, the pomegranate and the Parliament, but I eventually vaped them all out and have been doing the "rinse/refill" trick using all kinds of ejuices: current favorite is EcoPure English Toffee from cignot.com for daytime and their VG-based 555 0mg for nightime. I can also recommend Nhaler High Voltage juices: not too many strengths to choose from, but the vapor/flavor has been fantastic.

Nhaler High voltage juices are great they just don't do it for me in nic strength wish it was a higher. Otherwise good stuff!

Nhaler 24mg juices are good too, but there are some flavors that they only have in HV (12mg).
'French Vanilla Coffee' and 'Black Raspberries and Cream' are two of my all time favorites.

What I do is get a 30ml bottle of the 60mg unflavored. Then mix the 12mg HV juices up to about 22mg (4 parts HV juice to 1 part 60mg). With that mix the flavor isn't lost much at all and the increased nic kicks up the throat hit a little.

Good idea! I didn't want to try that because I thought I would lose the delicious flavor! AND I'm vaping black raspberries & cream right now. What a coincidence:). I'm still looking for that mega throat hit and I haven't found it yet.

I tried some V4L carts, but haven't found a flavor I really like yet. I got the tobacco sampler & coffee sampler. I got some blanks and am still in the process of trying to figure out the best way to fill them. I need a syringe! Very convenient for driving, though. I have an hour and a half commute to work every day and most of it is in the dark, so dripping and refilling is kinda tough.

I've been using the refill method from the V4L subforum here.

I use a small allen wrench to carefully pry off the white cap (the first time is the toughest...after that, it just pops off), pull the silicone ring and drip away.

I've also been using Taryn's trick (explained here) of spinning the carts to get more juice in them.
