They run at 3.7 volts. I don't think any other battery will fit in the box besides the 14500.

Holiday Bump. Also have some 901 to 510 connectors. Make your 901 into a 510 box.

I looked on ebay for the 14500 batts and got kind of confused. They come in Mah of anywhere between 500 and 990. Are all those the correct battery and the higher the Mah the better correct?
Also this mod has no LED light to tell me when the batt is about dead or the unit is under a load right?
So just go by vapor produced. No vapor equals either turn the switch on, or change the batt. hehehe

I use Trustfire 14500 900mAh 3.7 battery for these.. Got them at battery junction..also got a Trustfire multicharger..
Doesnt have a Led Light..but i think Ken can put on there for you if you like...Pm Him.

A 901 to 510 adapter is $7 (lets you use a 510 atomizer on a 901 box), 2 14500 protected batteries and a single charger $19, and atomizers are $7. All prices include shipping. The box has a 45 day warranty, if it malfunctions return it for a repair or replacement.
