    Somewhere between here and there
I have to agree with the manual battery opinions. I just started vaping last night and thought the button was a little odd at first. After just one day I am pretty used to it. I got my kit from nhaler and some juice from johnsoncreek. I am getting awesome vapor and pretty good throat hits. I would strongly suggest trying a manual battery. I know rockymountainvapor has them for 12.00 I think and they have free shipping. I have ordered from them once and got my order in two days.

First time poster, 100% new to vaping. Very glad to find this thread, as my first kit arrives tomorrow, and it so happens to be a 510 ! However, in spite of advice from the owner of the site I opted for the manual. I was in a hurry to try these as I'm desperate for an alternative to "analogs" (love that term btw). My only concern at this point is getting the 24mg instead of something lighter. I've read some threads here about headaches, etc. and I realllllllly want this to work right out of the box !
Great site here.....thx to all the old-hands for their advice. This newbie appreciates it !

rockymountainvapor has great prices and free shipping, located in US, and great customer service. Order 2 manual batteries. You'll never go back, and I can pretty much guarantee you won't find it very weird. The button falls right where you naturally hold it.

How bout all those manual batt advantages?
    No cut offs
    No auto clean cycles
No chance of juice leaking into battery (ruining it)
No e cig in your pocket coming on by itself creating a supernova wasting juice (and possiblly shortening atomizer life)
    No sticking pressure switches
    Allows for more consistant drags

It was really cool when I had my first e cig and it was all "automatic". But the novelty wore off.The biggest issue I had with my 510 was the button placement at first. It felt more "natural" for the button to be on the opposite side of the unit. And being a black, non LED model,I put it in my mouth the wrong way often for a day or two.

And Widow is a good source.Shes fast on her shipping too.

It's round. There's only one side. What do you mean by this? It sounds like you could just rotate the device in your hand. There must be some mis-communication here.

Yeah, you can hold it either way.

You can press the button with your middle finger or with your thumb.
It actually never even occured to me to press it with my thumb, until someone else mentioned it.

The button is pretty much exactly where you would want it for either method.
But I found that I prefer to use my middle finger.
