In your bushes, watching you undress
So after what seemed like forever, my Luci finally arrived.

This came to fruition by trying to buy the BLU, then because they aren't shipping, I was redirected to the Luci website. I thought I'd give it a shot, it is the exact same except they don't have the slick charger pack.

Now that I signed up here and read for days, I knew what to expect. Small unit = less vapor. I plan to order a 510 this week for more vapor.

It came partially charged, enough to get through 3 hours/1 cart. Works well, decent amount of vapor, flavor. While it is "kinda" tobacco, it honestly tastes like a standard pipe tobacco with about the same 'body'... all in all not too bad.

For $60, I'm pretty happy. They normally sell for $100, but they reduced their prices to match BLU while BLU is not satisfying orders.

I'm charging the other battery up for 12 hours, then I'll put this battery in for twelve... should do the trick.

The unit looks and feels nice, and it is a nice entry-level unit to get used to the whole e-cig thing. Once I get my 510, the Luci will be relegated to backup duty I'm sure. They give a 30 day guarantee, but I think I'll keep it anyway unless the 510 keeps me from ever liking it again.

They have an added benefit that I've not seen from other brands.. "Smoke for free"... when you refer others to Luci and get the credit for it, you get free carts. Cool deal, but I'm not trying to do that here, no worries :)

All in all, a nice entry into the lifestyle, and it gives me the idea that I CAN indeed love these things, and kick my regular cigarette habit.

Forgot to add one interesting thing... they advertise a LIFETIME atomizer guarantee. Not sure how that works yet, but it MIGHT prevent me from ever buying another atomizer, maybe only have to pay shipping on new ones.

That could save a bit of cash in the end huh?
Wow, if I had a lifetime atomizer guarantee I could get a mod for battery life and cost.
And then I could mix my own juices, and never have to buy anything again except for cheap batteries.

So, yeah, I think I am sounding a bit skeptical on how that will work out.

Atomizer life and getting nicotine juice are the last remaining obstacles if an FDA ban goes into effect.
And since I am about ready to drop to zero nicotine if I have to, I'm just worried about atomizers.
:)

lol, like I said... when I ordered it, I had not found this forum yet and didn't know what I was getting into.

Besides, I have seen more out-there claims. They are honest about how long a cart lasts and so on, so it coulda been worse.
They claimed a cart last 15 cigs worth in the FAQ.... Not as bad as the claims of 2 packs, but still exaggerated by 3x from most peoples experience.

I know what you mean though my first purchase was before I found this forum too. I paid $80 for a 4081, good e-cig, but way overpriced.

Let's see, sounds like one of those info-commercials: THIS ITEM IS FREE, JUST PAY SHIPPING AND HANDLING.........

shipping & handling fee: $19.99!

You <click to change>
I heard you have a lifetime warranty for atomizers?

Customer Service has joined
You are currently being served by Customer Service
Customer Service [agent]
This is true

You <click to change>
How does that work?

Customer Service [agent]
We have a lifetime warranty for our atomizers

You <click to change>
Do I send it back to you?

Customer Service [agent]
basically
if its defective or not working then you call our representative line
and they will send you a new one

You <click to change>
Do I have to pay for the shipping?

Customer Service [agent]
I do not believe so, let me check

You <click to change>
Thanks

Customer Service [agent]
Yeah pretty sure you dont have to pay for shipping if your atomizer is defective

You <click to change>
Do you charge any shipping to send me the replacement?

Customer Service [agent]
the only time shipping is charged is if you are returning
So no you should not be charged

You <click to change>
And when you say "defective" does that mean if the atomizer stops working for ANY reason? Or is there some criterion for what defines a "defective" atomizer?

Customer Service [agent]
basically its not operational at all
or
if like say
3 weeks after you buy it is barely smoking at all

You <click to change>
Okay, thanks very much!

Customer Service [agent]
and its not the battery or cartridges
no problem
let me know if you have any more questions

I have one as well. I paid for 2 of them at retail. Live and learn. I have been going through about 2 1/2 carts daily. This is starting to get expensive. Smoke juice and 510 already ordered from Ruyan. Everyone at work is interested in it though. I hope to turn a few to the dark side :sneaky:.
I could have done worse from what I have read. Like I said live and learn.
