I recieved a couple 510 atomizers a few days ago in generic starter packs. I noticed off the bat that the bridges were wider than normal. Both of them are difficult to draw on like an old gummed up attie, but they are both brand new. Not even worth using. They were free, but still.

Old design? Different factory? Defenantly no quality control on these puppies.

If they were free, don't write them off so fast. You probably have experience here so see if they are worth working at, breaking in or dripping or even ( the dreaded) cleaning, but don't go overboard with too many silly ideas. I'd take free atty's any time :)
In my experience with my only pv, a 510, attys are not all alike, some good some bad. Don't have any experience with a new type of atty I've been hearing about, are they a new version?
I know there are many veterans here that can help . Good luck.

( free attys - where ? )

As far as I know there are only 2 companies that produce 510 Atties, Joye who is the original manufacture and DSE who make an aftermarket. I have both and the wide bridge one you describe sound like the DSE. I have some of these as well as the Joye type. I haven't had the DSE long enough to give a verdict on their performance. I have used them some since I got them last week. The flavor is different but I'm not sure yet if that is a good thing or not.
