marvalenterprises.com has several on their site for 8.00
This is an excellent example of what I'm talking about. They list their batteries as "Joye 510 batteries" but the atomizers are listed as "Atomizer for Joye 510". Now these could be Joye Atomizers but if they are, why aren't they listed as "Joye 510 Atomizers". Buyer beware. I've emailed the supplier asking them what the brand is.

Left to right:
Purple Joye 510 atty from healthcabin - 2.9 ohms
Black SLB 510 atty from eliquidplanet - 3.6 ohms
Chrome BE 510 atty from bestecig - 3.5 ohms

All purchased and received within the last 4 weeks

Gotta tell you that I've never seen a Joye 510 atty run 2.9Ω. Every one I've tested is within 0.2 of 2.3Ω. Also, while it's easy to see the differences between the Joye and SLB, the BE looks the same internally except for the chrome finish.

Follow up: I received a fast response from this supplier (marvalenterprises.com) stating that their 510 atty's are indeed Joye brand. He thanked me for pointing out that the description was ambiguous and stated that he'd change it to read "Joye 510 Atomizer. His quick response will move him up the list of my preferred vendors!

Just rechecked:
healthcabin purple Joye 510 atty #1 - 2.4Ω
healthcabin purple Joye 510 atty #2 - 2.2Ω
ecigsupply blue Joye 510 atty - 2.5Ω
All these were brand new, never used.

Yes the BE looks virtually the same inside as the Joye, but the threads are a copper tone, not the gold of the Joye and SLB.

there's also a white ring of, probably, glue or epoxy where the slb has a washer

Do they all preform the same or is there a difference?

Ok. First you need to understand that watts are a more accurate way to measure the power of your setup. Here are some numbers for you. If you are using a 3.7v battery and it has been used for a bit (because off the charger a 3.7v battery will read about 4.2v).

2.3Ω atty @3.7v = 5.95 watts
2.7Ω atty @3.7v = 5.07 watts
2.9Ω atty @3.7v = 4.72 watts
3.1Ω atty @3.7v = 4.41 watts

As you can see, the resistance of the atty greatly affects the power. Again, I have measured many 510's from Totally Wicked and NHaler and they are all 2.2 or 2.3Ω. I'm not sure why gratefulbuddy's are 2.7Ω

One of the reasons that mods that use large 3.7v batteries like the 18650 seem to deliver a better vape is that they hold onto that over 4v charge much longer than smaller batteries do.
A fresh of the charger battery at 4.2v with a 2.3Ω atty delivers 7.67 watts of power! What does this all mean? Choose your atty's carefully!

I think the reason we all get different readings might be that our multimeters are probably not calibrated perfectly.

I agree. I have a couple of 801 HV atties from nhaler that measure .4Ω or .5Ω higher than they are supposed to with my meter. I should check into seeing how to/if I can calibrate this thing.

EDIT: Ignore that. Adjusted for my meter mis-calibration the nhaler HV atties are dead on.

Touch the probes together to check calibration.

Mine always zeroes out when I do this.

Edit: just re-checked and when touched together i get a reading of. 0.5Ω. DUH!!! I feel like such a dork. I was so sure I tried that before all these tests and got a zero reading. I will go edit my past posts to reflect this. [/walks away smacking head\]

Thanks for the help!

Funny, Just bought 10 attys about 1 hour ago...$80.00 dollars...but, want to make sure we had enough, in case something happens...concerning E-Cigs overall...plus just bought my wife a Joye 510 and needed some "white" atty's...
Did not see any hard times...But, I buy direct from "Joye"...
Later,
PaulCincy...

I did too and with Myfreedomsmokes coupon....5pks are 29.95. Hope they work good....also ordered one of thoses expensive 1 year warranty atomizers from ................ I'll be back and post my thoughts after it arrives.
