I tried to get some though Altsmoke, but he was out at the time so I got them from heaven-gifts. Theirs work on both the 901 and KR808 cartomizers. Naturally, I forgot to order cartomizers, too! Oh well, I did remember to order some 901 atomizers (my primary main objective). I've missed their glossy finish since I switched to the 510. It's funny how you can heat the exact same juice with a different e-cig and have a totally different experience!
As a 510 user, let us know what you think. I love the idea of adapters so you can sample different models. Just like when I got my first 510 I didn't stop loving my 901. It was just different.

I got most of mine from altsmoke til heavengifts started selling them for 5, yes 5 adapters for $8!!!!!!!!!!!! Cany compare quality til I get them tho-but look exactly the same. My guess is they must be the same since altsmoke dropped the price on thiers from $12.99 to $9.99 eac.

I was making a big order from Heaven Gifts and noticed the 5/$8 adapter deal too. Seems insane. I threw a pack in and I'll test them out to see how they perform. I'd really like the convenience of cartomizers w/ my 510 parts.
Here's what happened:
I got an adapter and some blank cartos from altsmoke and some 18mg redbull cartos from cigtechs. I filled one blank and I got taste and throat hit with little vapor, tried with 3 others and got similar results with various filling methods. I let them sit overnight and there wasn't much change. The cigtechs prefilled came today and I tried one with the same results.
I read the thread Refilling cartomizers--what am I doing wrong? and did research but I can't seem to get it working. The prefilled carto I tried sizzles, does that mean it's overfilled? Has anyone had similar problems in general or with the adapter and 510 battery?
Another thing I noticed is one of the cartos I filled and let sit overnight produced a low but reasonable amount of vapor on the first hit then quickly went down over the next 3 hits.
That's all the details I can remember right now, any direction in this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You linked to adapters -- just to clarify, as I understand it, battery connectors are meant for modders who want to have an endpiece that fits with their commercial atomizer of choice.
Adapters, on the other hand, allow you to connect one model of battery with another model of atomizer/cartomizer.
True, though, no need to spend a fortune.
I'm still looking for an equally inexpensive connector between the KR808D-1 battery (901 battery) and the 510 atomizer, though. They all seem to be $10+.
meir -- dunno what's going on, but I'm highly curious, since I'm about to try the same connection.
They only have a 510 atty to 901 battery (opposite of what I'm doing)

The cartos always sizzle when you vape. They gurgle when overfilled. You might have to adjust your draw, they need a very long soft draw. If anything the amount of vapor should go UP as you vape, sometimes it does take a couple of hits to produce good vapor on the refills even when not overfilled.
Not sure what method you are using for filling so can't say much about that.
For what it's worth, the draw on both of my 510 - 808 adapters was too light for me.
I stuck a round wooden toothpick in one of the little holes under the threads. I broke it off and used my fingernail to make sure it was good and tight.
That stiffened up the draw and had a dramatic impact on the vapor production.

No luck. Thanks for the idea. I'll try again tomorrow and see if it works then.
Here's the latest: I kinda think I got them working a little. I'm getting a little vapor. They seem to work better with auto batteries (weird, since I find my auto batteries don't work very good). I really want to get these cartomizers working since they are very convenient so I cracked and ordered V4L's Vapor King. I'll let you know how it works out. Thanks for all the help.
So, how did it work out? I'm curious. Did you order the manual or auto Vapor King?
