yesterday i bought a brand new 510 battery(manual) on my way to work. When i got here i put it on a charger. Now when i try to use it it dont work. When its not connected to the atty i push the button and it lights up,but when its connected the led just blinks like its not charged.I even tried holding the button down and screwing it to the atty at the same time, and as soon as it connects it just blinks.Any ideas?

Leave it on the charger for several hours and try it again. The instructions usually say to charge it for 6 to 8 hours the first time. I just think you have a new dead battery and it needs a long initial charge. Even after the charger light turns green, there's a trickle charge that will condition the battery and condition it.

The reason it blinks when you hold the button down and screw it into the atty is that the voltage under load drops below the charge threshold once it contacts the atty coil (load).

Crap batteries made badly from a country known for it's knock offs. Having similar problems with automatic batteries. First set I purchased lasted 7 months new batteries lucky if they last a week. Were did you get your batteries? I got 2 different sets and 3 of the 4 batteries were junk. Costing me more to send back. Got first replacement having problems with it.
