I've seen all the filler cart mods and not had much luck with them. I don't know if anyone has thought of this before, but works really well for me. I've found that after about 5 topoffs the filler where you drip to refill gets compacted and matted up and won't absorb the juice any more. When this happens I get a few good hits then need to refill. When I take the cart off to refill it, I only get like 2 drops and it pools up.

I have found that if i take a straight pin and poke holes through the length of the filler. It kind of aerates the filler and reopens the fibers a bit more. This causes the juice to soak in way better and deeper into the filler. I have also after doing this and filling it up, I then repoke the filler again and it even soaks in more. Then I top off with a few more drps till its just about to pool solid on the surface. So far this seems to work really good.

I hope this helps on ur carts also, let me know how it works for ya.

Hey Mamu!!

How are ya today, hope all is good. I tried the straw method on my 901 and worked pretty good. I've found that melting a small hole with a sewing needle in the back of the filler cup after removing the two round inserts works pretty good. This way you don't have to mess with the straw all the time. I found also that if you sand a 1/16th inch of the atty side of the cart on a 510 you get less plastic taste and dont run the risk the cart melting. I hope your 510 is still rockin for ya!

I'm still trying to get a q-tip to work. I'll pick up some coffee stirrers.

What i do is pull up the filler with a pair of tweezers, drip the length of it and then take one side of the tweezers and shove it back in the center. Keeps the juice from pooling, and the tweezer kind of slices the cart material down the center as I push it back down.

no pooling and it keeps it fluffed to.

I'll also pull the cart and dry smoke the atomizer to help dry it out. Get an amazing amount of vapor off the atomizer alone for quite a while (about 10 drags).. I'm loving smoking the atty with the recessed bridge.

then when i put the cart back on, the atty is clean and it draws the fluid out of the cart better. I'm thinking the attys hold so much juice with the fiber wick that it doesn't need to draw much from the cart. Topping off the cart, thinking it's dry, when really the atty is just wet.

works great.
