Having seen some of your 3 ML bottle reservoir mods and the straw mod, I think I might give something like this a shot trying to incorporate both things.

You guys see any major issues with this design? I believe that the external vent would help keep the wicking going till the res was empty. I believe that I could spend some time and make a prototype, but Just looking for some input for improvements before I go down the road too far. Forgive the paint dwg, its kind of rough.

Finished Prototype.

I will say, I wish some people would have commented with ideas, but now that it is built a I can definately see 2 or 3 major improvements that I can make to make this a production ready cart. As is designed it will hold 1ml of juice in the res.

What do we think would be an ideal reservoir capacity?

I believe that I could make a variant of this design with no external tube res. Does the extra tube look silly? Anyway I am going to play with a few different designs while I wait for some feedback.

Capacity at 1 mil is fine. I think 3mil would be cool as I read some people do 3 mil a day.But you want to be able to lift the thing lol.

Personally I could give a shirt how it looks as long as it is an improvement over the cruel joke they call a cart.Your design "looks" fine to me but I am still a bit unclear as to how it works exactly.

"Production ready cart" Curious what you mean by that?

I too have yet another design I will probably post tomarro or the next day after testing. All we can do is keep trying.

Basically I decided that what the infamous staw mod did was introduce a vent system into the cart thus making liquid transfer much smoother as air was free to fill the area evacuated by the liquid. So my Cart basically has a vent line built into the reservoir. Trying to incorporate added liquid storage and the straw mod all in one.

What I meant by production ready was that the cart I have shown in the design I built but it would not be something that could be easily produced in large quantities. The geometry doesn't lend itself too well injection molding. I'm not saying that I am ever gonna mass produce a cart, but I want my design to be solid. I think I have a much simpler way to do it with out the "Snail Shell" shape.

Looks feasible, as long as you can cap off the vent so it *doesn't* wick when you don't want it to...

That's what I was thinking at first glance. Looks like the straw with your finger on top. When you let go so does all of the liquid. Maybe a way of pumping in air to force liquid to the atomizer. Like a diaphragm on the end of the reservoir.
