Nope - and Frank, Lina June and the rest of the folks at joyetech were pretty ...... about it. Unfortunately for them, numbers can't be patented (thus the 686 was dubbed "Pentium")
Now if they'd called it a "JoyFleck 510" there could be a lawsuit...
One of my batteries is out of the game already. I had only charged it twice.
When I activate it, it just blinks slowly 3 times and refuses to give up it's goods.
The funny thing is, I popped the plastic ash cap off and was able to read the battery voltage from the LED PCB; it's 4.1V. So it's fully charged, it just refuses to work.

I thought it was the 586 that was the Pentium, but they never made a Sexium.... I wonder why....

h8 read a few pages back on the post about the paperclip in the battery, it just brought my 2 bats back to life. (put paperclip in hole of battery and pull out gently, than try it again. Should work

Unfortunately it's not a simple connection problem; the internal electronic circuit is refusing to work properly.
I decided to take the battery apart to check out the quality. To my surprise, these batteries use a "microphone" switch.
This is has one benefit; liquid entering through the battery will not impair the function of the battery. The only thing directly under the battery connector is the negative battery terminal.
Just a comment on the condensation/seepage thing with the carts - I got my first of these from Madvapes and it came with round carts, then the second one came from Litecig and it has flat carts. These flat carts don't seem to have the seepage problem nearly as much as the round ones do.
Can you use these battery connectors for battery mods? I have a lot of friends that want to try ecigs and this would be good for them, and good for me if I can get them to give me the batteries back so i can use the connector. If not where do you get them, just wait on batteries to die?

Yep looked like a good idea. Instead I just settled on the 510 connector and bought a handful of adapters.
I'm new to all of this. Just found out about electronic cigarettes a few days ago. I thought the disposable ones will be a good idea to see if I like it or not, but I've got a question.
Battery life last a few hours with these correct? Do they lose charge even if you aren't "smoking" it? Say I wanted to charge it up in the morning before I left work. Would it last me throughout the day. I probably smoke about 5-6 throughout the day at work.

The battery life is actually usage and you won't lose charge when not in use.. So high estimates are 2 hours of intermittent usage.. I get about 1+ hours maybe, lol, never really timed how many puffs a battery last for though but it would be interesting.
I get about 1.5 - 2 hours out of mine. It takes about that long to charge them as well. I vape a LOT more often than I smoked tho. If you stick to just using it in 5 minute intervals like an analog, it might last the day. Get 2 just to be safe! 
Wow, you only get an hour or 2? I must not vape as much as i thought. I can sit on the couch and use one pretty regullarly for 4-5hrs a charge!

Technically, a battery does loose charge when not in use. That is however a question of weeks, maybe even months, so not particularly relevant.
A normal 510 battery gets me through an hour, maybe a bit less, when I sit at my computer. But obviously, it depends entirely on ones usage, several hours are not unknown, either.
The thing with PV is, they taste good, and with zero calories, too. And you don't have to light up, handle ashtrays, etc, or even go out to vape. In other words, the perfect oral satisfaction. They deliver slightly less nicotine, usually, too, meaning most people need it slightly more often than an analog. So I would not count on a few puffs just a few times a day, although some people seem to manage that.
