I was nervous ordering this many of something I hadn't tried, because I did that with clearomizers and they were garbage. The clearomizers constantly had an off-taste no matter what I did. With the IKV, I've gotten accurate flavors and no sort of off taste at all so far. For people who love only bold flavors like Wyatt Earp and Atomic Cinnacide, maybe that doesn't matter to you, but I have several regular vapes that are delicate flavors and I need something that works like these Gold V2 do.

.... straight out of the box :)

The downside it that the bar is so much higher now. I see folks praising the CE2s or their cousins daily and can't help but wonder  I sit through tons of words (about CE2s) along the lines have you tried this, or have you tried that? What is wrong with...

Straight out of the box

After receiving my 510 Gold cartos and my 801-510 adapter on Saturday, I immediately filled 2 cartos w/20 drips or so and waited 30 minutes for saturation. I was going out that night and really didn't want to drip all night. Well, I have to say I'm impressed! I've always have had such bad luck with carts that I was holding my breath with these. No muss, no fuss! No nasty filler aftertaste either. Although I will never stop using my 801s, these cartos will be my must have when I'm out and about!
Thanks, Isaac, for a job well done! :thumb:

I going on 5 weeks with a 510 DT V2 carto and it's still working great. Using 70pg/30vg.

Fran, aren't these great. Isaac has a flair for making the best cartomizer on the planet. After doing everything I could to get those clear cartos to work consistently and not leak juice all over everything I can't wait until he comes up with his version of the clear. It will be nice to have one that works as they were intended. Isaac is the right guy for the job too.
I love the idea, just not the ones available now. I think they were released a little pre-mature.

Well, I have to say, this is my favorite so far.

... straight out of the box!

I got my mod today, and when I put one of these on, and started cranking up the voltage, the flavor and vapor of my favorite juice exploded! No funky taste or anything. I do not have a single thing bad to say for these V2's. 'Cept they don't hold a liter.

Got my drip tip cartos today and your donations to our Vape Meet. Thank you Isaac you are the best!!!!!!! I am happily vaping away my chocolate eclair that tastes better then even dripping it. I love these things.
Your very welcome Lisa! Thank You for the support! Can you take some pictures for me? or have you straightened the unknown out?
Well filled one up this morning. Everything was going good then I got that puff of air like you do when an atty blows. Now nothing. Wont fire at all. Wont register on a multimeter. I have never blown a cart before. Though it was wierd. Just thought I would let you know.
That is definitely weird Chelsea, lets trouble shoot so we can determine what the problem is. I'd hate to send you another if it will reoccur.
Device?:
Adapter?:
You also have to be careful taking them off the adapter. On the adapters the center post in them have a small end and a large end. I have them with the center post installed both ways. If the small end of the center post is on the end you put the carto on sometimes the center post of the carto becomes attached to the center post of the adapter and when you go to remove the carto the center stays put ruining a good carto. I had it happen twice. I pulled the center post out of the adapter and installed it the other way to stop this from happening. If you don't overtighten them it also won't happen. Here are some bad photos of what I'm talking about.
5Card! Thank You!! This was exactly what happened to the customer I was referring too. You sir is an Awesome fellow!

First time purchaser from Iken...and I have to agree with everybody on these carts. They rock...GREAT taste...GREAT vapor.....I can not say enough GREAT things about these....(super fast shipping too) THANKS!!

Also, I made a stupid mistake on some other items that I ordered...ALL my fault and after several e-mails to him...BTW....man does he respound fast!!!....He figures out my issue....yes it was my problem and my mistake...so, what does he do????? Sends me some goodies to fix me right up!!!!

New customer for life...THANKS again Buddy..... :)
Rock on Yepster!!! Thank you for the good words good buddy! I'm really happy that everything is up and moving well.
Soooo are these cartos meant for high voltage or something? They crush my batteries. I've got a Provari coming hopefully Monday, but right now I'm using 2 ego and 1 ego mega battery. The standard ego batteries last me about 3 hours with a standard Boge carto. They last about 30 minutes with this one. The Boges I have are around 3-3.2 ohm. This one measures about 2.6. Is there really that much difference?

note: i probably won't care once I get the provari. These draw extremely well, and my juice is much tastier....
I am going to take another stab at having them Drip tip'less. Which I'm sure this time they'll get it right or they will pay (again) It's the demand of the cartomizer really. If you were take a 1.5Ω atom to a standard battery, it will destroy it into nothing very quickly. It's another reason why I don't aim too low in tolerances.

Got my order today and almost threw away the box with the little extra 'E' shaped rubber band thing. I did a doubletake because I have a bunch of huge blue plastic paperclips on my desk like that. Anyhow I like it thanks!

I ordered an HV 901, a few mega 808 and Platinum V2 cartos, and 2 converters, but the bulk of my order was 23 of these Gold Drippers. So, I got 3 loose and 4 x5 boxed up. I kind of looked through all my stuff and followed the directions - 30 drops of an 80/20 pear-champagne DIY and happened to let it sit while I had dinner. I came back and went at it. Sound but no vapor. I'm like, "something is happening here for sure, but no vapor at all". Turns out after checking that I happened to pull out the only one that was produced with no air holes from one of the boxes. I swear I have crazy bad luck sometimes.

I filled a new one and gave it a go at 3.73V. These really are good even at this voltage, in fact now that I moved up to 4V it really isn't that much better. I'm getting good vapor production on par with the HV 306 (which I prefer at 4.6V for some reason). The throat hit is modestly better though. I've been giving it like 4-8 drops every once in a while blind (i.e. through the drip tip while tilted) and it is working great.

After one time doing this I popped the drip tip to examine it and topped up another 2 drops to where it looked perfectly saturated, but I don't think doing this is even necessary most of the time. This is the first 510 anything I've ever used and I started out on Boge 2 Ohm KR808 cartos. I had so many problems with those, like 30% DOA rate, having to pop them and top off very often and stuff. I actually had so many problems with those that when I first bought my kit I could never really get into vaping and went back to analogs for a month.

This is like the complete opposite of that. I don't think I've let them get near-dry, or else they just wick very well. I got a little liquid down the center on the first one, but I realized you just need to start slowing down in drops 20-30 and it is super easy. No messy carto-condom method or having to blow through or shake vigorously to get the juice to flow down. I haven't yet had a problem over-filling. Maybe it will happen, but I doubt it could be anything near the problems I had before.

I was nervous ordering this many of something I hadn't tried, because I did that with clearomizers and they were garbage. The clearomizers constantly had an off-taste no matter what I did. I'm afraid I've vaped myself into a touch of nic-overdose now, but I have nothing really negative to say about these so far. The manufacturing on the one is a fluke and just a fact of life. There's a bit of a sizzle sound that unnerves me, but I think this is just because I am so used to my de-wicked 306's. That's just a personal problem I guess haha... I think you really did a great job on these Isaac...
What a Beautiful write up Aprioristic!
I'll be more than happy to shoot you another one for that oddity. You totally made my day with this review. Thank You!

lol Just Fantastic! I'm so glad your liking them! You can always have faith in these. They really are built to last and known to out live some atomizers. ;)
So, right after using one of these V2's, I popped on an 808 Mega. Forgot to go down on the voltage. Tastes like burnt hair. It's so bad, I don't think it will come out. Kind of a pain, because it's FULL of my favorite juice... Should the 808 megas fry 60/40 pg/vg juice at 4.3v?
Ooooh, when you turned down the voltage, does it still taste burnt? There may be a way to get rid of this if tuning down doesn't help. A: you can either try to tough through it till the burn dissipates or B: You can use hot water to run through it till it's clear, then let it sit for about a day to fully dry because you don't want water in there when you reprime or else it would burn again. I'm still a little confused on why it singed (a little) A little, because right now I have a 510 DT on a Provari and running 3.8V, BUT If i add it to my 5V Switchbox, it hits the same. I just measured the Provari and sure enough it's outputting 3.9V. I believe this is where amperage comes into play.. I'm just not too sure yet.

Oh, no, the 510DT's are beauuutiful at 4.3v. It was an 808 mega that went to toast on me...

Oh I'm sorry, I jumbled all the words together in the midst of all the excitement.
I totally understand, I was just giving an example. The same thing happened with the 306 HV I'm using. I have to keep it down in the Provari to the 4.6V mark, but in the 6 Volt Prodigy it's just the same.

Look at my avatar...it tells all. I have tried so much crap lately.(Like the TW tank) I seen someone on the Notcig forum who loves these. So I gambled and bought some. I can say thus far I love it! If it continues I will have to change my signature to add to my happiness list. LOL
Haha Just Awesome Sdh.
I'm sorry to hear about the tank, I seen it and showed it to friends a few days ago.Does it just not wick right?

I bought two atties and 10 tanks. I stopped with the first. It seemed the actuall draw hit wasn't great. The first 8 days it was good. Then it started flooding and I couldn't even take a drag. I cleaned it twice so far. I am not giving up on them just yet. The flavor was okay. Not as good as LR on a battery. I think the concept would work...it just needs to be developed more. I seen that Joye is coming out with 510 smartcarts for a regular 510 battery. I have a new tank atty and I will expore using it at a later time.

Who knows maybe you can modify this tank system to really work? (Just throwing the idea at you?) LOL
BTW I am very .... with my gear. I still have a 510 atty from last July in perfect shape. So I doubt my knowledge lacking in the tank would alter its working ability. Hope that makes sense? LOL

Haha so many projects. I was going to say that it struck as weird that Joye wasn't behind the tank as TW deals exclusively with them, but alas there it is on the Joye site. Usually when they come out with something ground breaking it takes a couple versions before pinning it down. I'm sure someone will come up with a remedy mod to preform on it. There's a bit too many projects working at the moment LOL Right on with the aged 510! Same here! I never had an atom bust that wasn't a prototype. We're talking mega tackle boxes full of used equipment lol.
What is the difference between these and the platinum v2?
Huge difference. From the heating element’s position to the filling itself. We have been considering discontinuing the platinum v2 as I feel they could be much better. They were very similar to the Gold V1, just with a tighter airflow and a higher percentage of density of filler. I was going for a more realistic simulation of a cigarette, but it wasn’t cutting the bill just yet.

So you think the gold v2 is the best carto you offer for a 510? I want as low resistance as possible.

Then your cup of 510 will be the Premium Platinum, we actually just sold out and are waiting shipment. We do have a 2.0 coming in 901 cartomizer, but they need to go through the beta testing first.

Mr. Isaac / Master of Vape ! :vapor:

I received my 510 Drip style Carto order yesterday and I must say that you really did a fantastic job on these also, along with the 801/510 Fusions, and the 801 LR & HV Atty's

You amaze me in your designing skills and your attention to detail on all of your products. I love these 510 Drip Tip Carto's, they hit perfectly and the flavor is clean and perfect, with the vapor just right and warm the way I like them. I don't know how your doing it, but keep up the magic.
