First off these E 2 Cartomizers are very hard to find in stock and I can see why. Compared to a regular cartomizer well, there's no comparison. I took my pack of 5 E2 cartomizers and filled each one with a little over 1ml of fluid of different tobacco flavors. Some were PG,PG&VG mix, and VG only. What can I say these are wonderfull. I had one defective in the sense that the air wholes at the bottom seemed blocked so air flow was non existent.

With that said if you haven't tried the E2 Cartomizers you have to get them when available. I have a Riva and I bought my wife an Ego and got some mega cartomizers and filling those was fairly straight forward around 1.8ml and they vape like nobody's business.
I love both of them so much so I doubt I will buy a regular Cartridge, or Cartomizer again.
I also picked up the Ego mega cartridge and mega atty. Its nice, but I'm one of the few that prefers the cartomizer over the cartridge.

I just got my Version 4's today, and I have to say that they did take care of the leaking/wicking issues, but the flavor is off. It tastes almost 'rubbery' to me. Not crazy about it. I got a lot better flavor and vapor on the previous version by using badkolo's ptb mod.

I'm bummed out because I was really hoping that the issues would be fixed AND that the flavor would be the same. Unfortunately, I only got part of what I wished for. Oh well. I'll stick with my older ones and just ptb mod them.

Oh contraire!! They hardly come more geeky than me, and I've been vaping for over a year now. I am pretty much done with carts...too much headache even when modded well for me. I either drip with a drip tip, or when out and about I use cartos. All 510 gear. A good carto, when filled right, with the right juice viscosity, is almost as good as dripping, and more convenient to stick in the pocket. Haven't tried the E2s yet, or any of their ilk, but a good 2.5 ohm carto, especially at higher volts, is quite nice and lasts a long time. Mine last weeks, and are about 1/5 the cost of an atty.

I just got my CE2 from Volcano. Nice vapor production, warmth, and flavor. Except I'm getting a bit of a paper aftertaste. The 1st thing I noticed was that these aren't a plastic tube. The seam along the side suggests perhaps a plastic coated paper of some sort, at least to me. Also, the mouthpiece end can get a bit hot, to the point of being somewhat uncomfortable. So I'm not sure this is my vaping-while-driving solution. I'd be tempted to try an eGo carto, if it weren't a whistle tip.

I use my C-E2's cartomizers with a drip tip since I like them(can grip with the teeth) and the delrin ones tend stay cool.

All the best,
Wing.

I figured out that there's a metal housing, so the paper wrap is just for branding, as far as I can tell. The drip tip definitely helps, but it makes it a bit too long. I might try a stubby tip, except I don't have one of those.
