510 E2 R4 Cartomizers (filling question)

I just got some of these and was excited to try. The product listing where I bought them said each package came with the special filling needle (syringe required); no problem, except that the fill tip was not included in the pack I bought . Any other way to properly fill these cartos or do I need to order a fill tip and wait?

I don't suppose you have a 20 guage skinny needle?

You can remove all three rings (mouth-piece, middle ring and filler ring) and just use a syringe with a blunt tip needle to fill it. Insert the needle along the side of the carto. Don't fill directly on the ceramic cup. If you don't have a needle, you can just pull juice up with the syringe and carefully add the juice down the side of the carto. If you want to put all three rings back in, just be careful putting the filler ring back in. You should have received a black mouth piece with your cartos. You can just put the middle ring back in and then the mouth-piece and vape your head off!

Unfortunately, that method will not work with the CE2R4 ceramic cartomizers.

I used xl e2 cartos, and tried the "condom" method, with poor success, so I found another online tutorial on youtube and it showed exactly how to take off the soft tip and the little silicone ring, then find the two small holes on either side of that little ring in the carto, the filling kit I got has little white needle looking plastic things, that if you are very careful won't bend in half, and I was able to fill the cartos in that manner. you just have to remember to fill slowly and to fill the syringe slowly too as the liquid is very thick.
someone on chat also suggested I shake down the carto after filling, like a thermometer(if you aren't a mom, this is kind of hard to explain...) and that seemed to help.Also seems to help if you turn the carto upside down when you are done and blow hard through the little hold, then dab the mouthpiece with a napkin or tissue to get the residue off, since I started doing it that way, I have had much happiness with my cartos

thanks. any recommendation on fill quantity? card in the pack says anything from .6ml to 1ml.?

If you got the regular sized cartos, then you can probably get from 0.8ml to 1ml in there. If you bought the XL cartos, then you can get at least 1.8ml in there easy. Just keep an eye on the ceramic cup. If liquid begins to fill it, then pull back on the plunger until the liquid is below the cup. That will keep it from leaking. You might still get a little liquid in your mouth sometimes, but it shouldn't be much and I can usually just vape through it.

Thanks once again. Been learning the bogue510lr soft tips which came in on the same order while waiting for a needle or fill method for the ce2s. Wow! Don't know if it is the vertical element, the LR or a combonation of the two but I am really liking the "warmer" vapor. and 25-30 drops before a refill?!?!?!? what a bonus.

I've never tried any LR attys, but I'm really enjoying the warmer vapor from these CE2R4's! I got the 3.0ohm on accident, but now I'm glad that I did. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I haven't had any problems with wicking even when I'm using a 50/50 mix. Using a 60PG/40VG mix is out of this world, but I don't vape that mix very much because PG and I don't play nice together.
