About to receive my long awaited ody--yet no ggts base. Read that the 510-ego adapter will allow fitment without the ggts topcap. is this correct?

You will need this 901-510 adaptor and the GGTS rethreader for Ody with 510 base to fit on GGTS (with the CT and not the lid). This way you can use the air control.

Yes you can Sneaker. GGTS will be 8mm longer like this but it will work
But maybe air flow control will not work if it has the Odysseus V2 510 base, because the channels at the bottom of it.
yes, you are right Ariel. Sometimes I forget that only me and some others have the ability to make it work because I have all bases in my house.
But if Sneaker has this base then its impossible for air control on GGTS, he needs the Ody's GGTS base for that
