510 (female) connections = planned obsolescence!

sigelei Zmax has stainless threads, though I have no idea with their newer box mods; the Zmax is pretty old tech at this point (15w). The iStick30 and iStick50 have stainless threads; the iStick20 does not.

You bring up some pretty good point. In my experience though, I've been vaping for 5 years and never had a 510 connection that I needed to replace. However, I never screw/unscrew my atomizer. It just stay there on my vaporizer. If you think the threading is a problem, I'd suggest buying more vaporizers so you will not have to unscrew your atomizer again

I've had several 510 receptacles go limp & floppy in less than a year.

But they were salvaged from cigarette-alike ecig batteries - I'm sure the fittings you can buy for DIY battery mods are more robust.

The ego fittings I've switched to are certainly a lot better.

What we really need is for threaded connectors to be phased out in favor of "push-turn-lock" designs. Next time you're at Starbucks, watch how they attach/detach the coffee receivers to the espresso machine. That type of connection is designed to withstand hundreds of uses a day, and that's what we need.

You know, that's occurred to me before. I think it's a wonderful idea.

Neutrik® Speak-on™ NL-4 connectors are a twist/click type of insulated quick-release used in high-powered pro-audio sound reinforcement. They're kind of big, but robust as all getout and I've never had one wear out, even after excessive use.

My solution is, once I have a topper on a mod, it stays there. I rarely take them apart. Currently, I'm using 4 Reos, and each one has its own atty.

@OP, there's something else going on if it's noticeably wearing in days. Have a close look at your male and female threads and look for impact dammage or similar abnormalities.
