510 help

I am getting my x-mass list going... Doing e cigs... for a couple of friends... and at least one Stranger I find smoking on the street .... I will include the forum information....

I know everything about the 801 so I would be good help about them...

My question(s) is I want to also get the 510 to give, since everyone seems to enjoy them and they seem to be a good working e cig type..
I really never got the hang of using carts.... so I am not much help in that area... I just drip on the 801...

Are all makers of 510 the same
are all parts for 510's interchangeable
can you drip on the 510's

any suggestions are welcome for those who have purchased e cig gifts for their friends to get them introduced..

I started my son and best friend on them. But I started them on 901's since they are easy to use and all but foolproof! I made sure they had passthroughs as well as batts and atty's. Of course I sat them down and gave them the "intro into vaping " lecture.

If I had it to do again, I might start them on cartomizers and the 808-d..That's really foolproof! At least until you start filling carto's...lol

I made sure both son and friend had not only a varity of liquids (5ml sample sizes mostly) but a full DIY kit! Lorann's, P.G., fluval and blank carts with a bottle of 36 nic. Best to teach a man to fish and all that!

I have found that when you start someone else out..they don't do the research and work we put into it. The sucess rate isn't as good as it it would have been if they had the motivation and support we get here. Neither of them joined, even though I gave them our addy as well as supplier cards.

Thanks MaryKay I will look, I am assumeing just the way it sounds that (cartamizors) are like I had with the 51 which was my first e cig.... cart and addy are one unit...

just in honesty, think I will be a cheaper Santa,,, (your really went all out, which is cool) Do like your idea for including the small juice sample those are reasonable priced couple tabacco, fruit, and the mint... should cover it...

If I was starting out someone and just wanted to give them a small kit..I would do a starter kit with some sample liquids and lots of vendor cards!
Of couse with my son, I did go nuts and my friend has the beginnings of lung problems and has other health issues..that's why I went crazy with her too. I need someone that I can run the streets with in my old age!

You can look into a starter pcc kit. yes the cartomizers are cart and atty in one, they last me about 4 hours of heavy vaping..not bad! I find them useful for driving..no dripping and driving. The nice thing about 808-d's are that they can also use a 901 atty and cart.

My 510 is my ecig of choice. My first few months on it, I mainly refilled my carts for vaping. The last few months I've changed over to just dripping, saving my carts for when I'm out of the house. I think the 510 is a great ecig.

I set my brother up with one, however he's never taken to it. He seems to not like the idea of dripping liquid into it. By that I mean he takes very short puffs on it like he's scared to get it in his mouth.. since then he's come over and spent a little time using my Nebula, and says he like that one a lot better. So I gave him a set with all my extra cartomizers I had left. To date he still hasn't made the switch.

My only real advice here would be to perhaps have a vape day prior to ordering. See who on your list is open to trying something new. As much as I love vaping, I realize its not for everyone. Best of luck and I'd like to say I think its wonderful that you're doing this.
