Does anybody know where can I get some 510 AUTO batteries? How come nobody uses them, is something wrong with them or something?
Actually, I think there is "something wrong" with them. They are triggered by sound and movement, not just by suck. It's not terrible, but awkward in some circumstances.

Heaven Gifts also sells them.

If you want auto batts, why not get 280 mAh Kr8 and adapter? NHaler, GoodProphets, and Heaven Gifts sell both. Altsmoke sells adapters and a Kr8 PCC kit with an auto batt (but not auto batts as spare parts).

Honestly if you want an auto 510 battery that bad, I suggest the disposables form MadVapes or litCigUSA.

It's ten bucks for one disposable pack so you'll get a batt an atty and 2 carts of nasty USA mix. The bonus here is that they're only supposed to last about three charges yet many people report 40+ charges. I've had min since the start of Feb and it's still kickin. 44 bucks for a pack of five, you get yourself some extra attys and you get 5 auto batts that you won't mind if you ruin with juice.

The reason I mention all this is these auto batteries are built differently from the standard ones; wind, noise and movement WONT set them off. They are pneumatic and will only go off if you draw on it.

That might be a better choice for you. Truly worth it for the convenience at a decent price.

I agree. This was my first thought - buy the disposable at madvapes - you get the auto batt (mine is on 24 charges now) the atty, carts, usb charger for less you can get an auto batt almost anywhere else. AND there is no auto cutoff on the 510's I have, unlike the KRP batts that have too short of cutoffs (and 'timeouts') other than the extra long ones.

The first ones I got were autos and they were a pain. Sometimes they wouldn't work at all and sometimes I would have to draw really hard. I like the control you get with the manuals and I can drip.

Edit: I don't know enough about the disposables to give you an answer but I'm sure someone else will. I'm also not sure about the cut off times on the 510 but I've had other models that have a 6-8sec. cut off.

The disposables have a three or four second cutoff, but honestly I just pulled the battery off of the atomizer right this moment to check that because I never reach it. I get very good vapour production and wasn't even aware there was a cutoff haha. Theres no buffer time between the cutoff and you drawing again though, so all you have to do is stop for a split second and continue hauling.

I may have misunderstood Thorak.... and here when you talk of a cutoff in terms of '3 second cutoff' - you're talking about the 'time out period' after the cutoff. For example, the KR8 280mAh batt has an "8 second cutoff" - it's actually closer to 5 - and that means that after 8 seconds it will cut off.

I always thought cutoff was the lenth of time you can draw from it, and timeout was the time you wait to take another draw.
Kent, you mentioned the 280mAh Batt, Does it produce more volts or just last longer? Is it bigger?

That's correct then but my disposable from madvapes doesn't have a 3 - 4 second cutoff. And the joye's have none at all, unless they've changed that. I don't think so because Wayne at HG states that in his blurb last I checked.

I'm familiar with the battery testing thread on this but frankly, in my experience, the one that I have from Vapor Kings not only doesn't give more vapor than a regular 510, it doesn't last as long as a 510 mega batt - which goes for 3 to 4 hours for me whereas the KR8 gets 2 hours tops. In fact, some of the cartomizers outlast this one. The extra long KR8 is supposed to be the 'one to get' - it has a 13 second cutoff and is a 3xx mAh batt - forget if it's 320, 340 or 360 but whatever, with my mod batts I won't be getting one soon ;-)

And the KR8 280mAh batt that I have is as big as a 510 mega, a little less than an inch longer than a regular 510 batt.
