510 NicoStick - 401 Atty as connector

My 401 NicoStick has a sister!
The 401 atomizer is a perfect fit for the 510 atomizer. With the amount of dead 401 atomizers I have, I could make 510 mods forever.
The NicoStick is the perfect solution to the one shortcoming of the 510 - (short battery life)
If I'm not careful, I'm gonna turn my atomizer into a puddle of slag!

Are you saying that you can screw a 401 atomizer and 510 atomizer end to end? and us the the 401 for mounting and electrical connection? I've abandoned my 401 as all my batteries were destroyed by dripping

Yep, the two mate perfectly and make contact. I didn't have to do anything to make the two work together.

Funny you should ask. I just went to take a hit off of it and got no vapor. I first thought that I'd killed the atty (I'm a 401 atty serial killer). When I saw this I thought to change batteries (14500) - Bingo, back up and running.
I put the other battery in sometime yesterday afternoon and I've been vaping hardcore since 7 AM. So at least 6 hrs (probably more like 8).

I can kill a 510 manual battery in an hour, no problem.

I have only M401/2 so will be ordering 510 attys.
But than I will have a dilemma:
1.510 NicoStick - 401 Atty as connector
or
2.401 NicoStick - 510 Atty as connector

I am not a dripper nor dipper and as you know M4XX has small cartridge, about .25 mg, but 510 is twice as much like .50 mg.

Also would have to buy a bunch of cartridges and attys for 510 if I go 510 route.

See my dilemma?

So how is the draw on 510 vs M4XX?

I have both the 401 and the 510. I have abandoned 401. The vapor the 510 produces speaks volumes. The draw is comparable with a fresh atomizer.

Yury, I'm with kLack on this. I've hardly touched my 401 since the 510 has gotten here.
I really like the 401 cartridge design (even though you have to push it up to fill it) and I also like the exposed atomizer. There is no comparison in vapor output and throat hit though.

If you want to make a 401 NicoStick, just pull apart a dead, or dying, battery.

Interesting how all these different models are just reversed fittings.
Is there a compatability sticky somewhere.
I think the 4081 and 901 are reversed too.

That's interesting. I took the atomizer completely apart and just used the threaded connector. It looks like you just gutted yours and somehow managed to make a connection to the center post. That must have been hard!

Not at all, i used a center red wire from the atty as a positive
Just make sure you don’t brake wires when you pull out a coil from the 401 atty.

please forgive the noob, how in hell do you get the connector out of an atomizer/battery? i've been banging on this damn 510 battery trying to get the connector out for an hour now and i'm getting ....... like, hammer and hacksaw ....... i know i'm dumb, no need to kick me while i'm down 8D.

If you have a dead atomizer, screw that onto the battery and use it to wiggle it loose and off. If you do not have an atty to use, try vice grips or pliers, but be very careful not to bend it, or bite into it.

To disassemble the battery, take a flat head screwdriver and pop off the grey cap where the led is. After that you must grip the other side by the thin gold part. If you twist and pull it will slide out of the black casing.
