I this got and it hasn't bombed in or gunked on me in 7 weeks. The battery is way down on the cord so it doesn't weigh much if the cord doesn't get on your nerves going to your pocket. Doesn't rob the bank and is well built. I made on w/o a battery for my desk using this this and this with the end cut off throw an electrolytic cap in the tube for filtering out any ripple and you have a 5 volt system for a USB (Min 2A) wallwart
