Q about USB Passthroughs and USB wall adapters

Hello,

The Passthrough allows you to smoke continuously using your USB charger? Does the battery stay on that cord forever or does it unscrew from the cord? If it's attached, do they last a long time?

I have a old PC but it does have a 2.0 USB port. I do play online games though every evening and I don't know if that would be good to draw more power from my old machine whilst playing graphic intensive games?

The USB Wall Adapter though, I could use that and plug a 510 Passthrough into it and vape right from the outlet power?

How long is the Passthrough cord? I don't know if I bought a wall adapter if I'd have enough cord to make it to an outlet LOL! I think I would need 4-5 feet to make it to the power strip behind my desk.

Regular 510 passthroughs I've seen are all permanently attached to the cord, you can get the eGo pass through which also doubles as a regular ego battery it will use all your 510 atty's,carts,carto's. The cord on my eGo PT is about 3.5 - 4 feet. You could use the usb/ac adapter and vape from the outlet.

Your USB should power it ok, but power through usb ports can vary, I know my desktop puts out more then my laptop. I use a powered USB hub for all my stuff.

Thank you SO much Old Dragon! The regular 510 passthrough has a 30 inch cord and that wouldn't have worked! My outlet is 4.5 feet away behind m,y desk! The 5foot cord will be perfect!

Make sure you buy an USB to A/C wall adapter rated at "2 amp" output rather than the "500mA" adapter that usually comes with the Riva/eGo kits. The "500mA" adapter will not power a 5volt passthrough. I've been through this. MadVapes has a "2 amp" adapter for about 10 bucks. They also have a decent 5 volt passthrough which I use with an extension cord.
