Mine has a notch in the case for the Manual Batts as well. No mod needed. And you can actually hold 2 carts, 1 batt, 1 atty + cart for a total of 3 carts, not 2. Also, I purchased a Car Lighter Adapter and Wall Charger that is USB compatible and bought 2 extra USB cables.

That was, if I stay at a hotel or something, and they don't have a USB port, I can still charge the PCC via wall outlet. And on long drives, I can charge the PCC case in the car. I got all my stuff sans the extra USB cables from RUYANDIRECT for a really cheap price. I got the USB cables from MONOPRICE for like 1.25 each or something. In total, I got all the accessories for my PCC (under $10). And BTW, the PCC at RUYANDIRECT is the one that has a notch for the MAN batt with no mods. It's really cheap there, too.

How long is the warranty at ryuandirect anyway for the pcc,? Doesn't list it like their other products. I'm assuming 6 months like their atomizers? WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW!

How durable is this thing? I wear dickies jeans (please don't laugh:D). How well does this fit into jean pockets?

I have two of these and they are very durable. One from TW and the other from Eastmall. Both have cutout for the manual battery, and I pack one every day in the front pocket of my jeans. I hardly even notice it since it replaced the pack of analogs that used to occupy that space. :)

IIRC, Dickies are not too tight? I wear jeans that fit (not too loose, not too tight) and I keep it in my front pocket like I used to my analog pack. No damages yet, and the black case is quite scratch resistant.

RE warranty.... I never checked. But for the $18 or so they are asking, I figure that I would take a gamble. If I paid more from another site, it fails and I have to send it back myself, it would cost almost double to get a replacement. $18 is 3 packs of analogs these days, so I never checked the warranty. Sorry.

I know, but a lot of their products have a 6 month warranty. Always nice to have a spare you can send out when it goes dead and not spend another 18 right?

It's no big deal, i got two 510 atty's WITH A 6 MONTH WARRANTY:thumb:
20 pack of blank 510 cartriges, and a 510 pcc for 52 shipped

Gotta love warranty's on atomizers though right?:)

That's a good price. Did you get it from there or somewhere else? That EMS Delivery on their site is not as slow as I thought. Got here in about a week. GL on your PCC. You'll like it. And mine does bring some dead batteries back to full about 4 times or so. I never tried beyond that, but on the 4th, the red LED (that shows the case needs charging) didn't come on yet. I did do an initial charge of 8 hours (empty PCC), charged one dead batt fully and put the (empty) PCC right back on the charger for another 5-6 hrs.

Dunno if that helps, but instrcutions for other Li-Ion products says that we should top off twice the get full capacity (something about stimulating/energizing every single drop of the batt or otherwise, those mediums will always be dormant).

Take the 510 battery out and flip it upside down to store it after it charges, or else you will wear down both the 510 battery and the case's battery.

That should help you get more charges to the 510 batteries.

The PCC is a must have for all 510 owners.

I thought that after the red light goes off the PCC goes in stand-by and it`s battery does not activate until next 510 battery is inserted for the next recharge cycle....

Anyone else got opinions on this ?

My wife leaves her charged battery in her PCC in the charging position until she needs it and she still gets between 4-5 full charges from a fully charged PCC.

I would love to find a small plastic or glass bottal to fit in one or both cart spots. I'd much rather carry some extra juice in it... That would be kool...

Here is the ticket for you and the ultimate pcc mod (ease and usefullness) if I do say myself. This conversion requires very little modification(none permanent) and allows for a 2m bottle to be stored with your PCC.

(The battery has been removed to make it easier to see everything)

These parts came from juicyliquids.com.
Parts:
.7ml pipette
2ml plastic screw top vial

The configuration changes your setup to contain:

1. Battery
2. Attomizer without cap(cart cover over open end to keep clean)
3. 2ml vial
4. Spare cart
5. .7 ml pipette cut down to fit in case(for dispensing not required)

What you need to do to accomplish this is remove the cart top which is by default sitting at the bottom of the atomizer slot (2 left of the battery). Use a tweezer and remove the rubber cart top to yield the space required to fit the vial perfectly. This can always be replaced should you decide to undo the change. The atomizer(without cart) fits in the first slot left of the battery and has a rubber cart cover over it.

The one thing you will notice is that there is no rattle whatsoever once this kit is outfitted. It all fits very nicely and prevents things from sliding around.

Pass it on,

That's brilliant, thank you!!

I have those 2ml vials from Juicy Liquids and was wishing they were slightly shorter to fit in the PCC -- I had no idea there was just a removable cart cover in the bottom of the PCC's atomizer slot.

A battery charger with spare atomizer, cartridge and juice bottle in one compact case. My PCC is perfect now!

Okay, I just have to ask this. I just received a 510 and PCC this morning. You know I'm just dying to use it. :) If the PCC seems to be fully charged (no lights were on when I got it), wouldn't it be safe to assume that the battery that rode in it from China would be fully charged and ready to be used without the 8-hour charge? Thanks in advance.

I think that post only applies to the 510 auto batts. With the manual batt there is no issue with leaving the battery in the case right-side up. Those auto batts can be triggered by any movement almost, very annoying. That would drop the voltage enough to restart the charge cycle.

I have no issues at all with my PCC after more than a month of use.
