mmmm, a little on the low side. What flavour and where from? For example my Levy RY4 doesn't work well in cartos at all. It greases them up in no time flat, whilst I'm on week 2 with one loaded with caramel tobacco from Bluemist. Go figure!

I see, so you have many cartos "in use" at a time, or at least as many cartos as you might expect to use in a single day.
I try to have one atty (really two now, one for 3.7v and another for 6v) in use at a time, and run it into the ground before breaking out a new one. So I have in mind to do the same with cartos, use the same one until it's dead.
So... if you were a topper-offer instead of a multi-carto-carrier... sounds like you'd end up topping off 2 to 4 times
So far, I haven't needed to top it off, but I'm mildly worried about burning it and thinking maybe i should drop a couple more in. That's always somewhere in mind when i use cartos.... ah... just dropped 7 more in for good measure... nice pick up in flavor/vapor as a result!
I tend to keep mine fairly wet. I use one carto at a time until it's as used up as I believe I can get it. Seems like I can get 12-15 drags before I top off. Usually only takes 5-8 drops and it's never really dry but I like to keep it wet.
Isaac's cartos don't burn, unless you really ABUSE them, and I mean constantly like a dry burn! Unlike most other carto's these just don't burn like the ones I've seen posted on the "burning carto" thread.
I've been using 70/30 blends from BWB in it... casablanca, applewood, smoke, menthol... It still works, just the flavor/vapor is off enough for me to have set it aside. And on monday, seemed more challenging to get satiated nic wise using the carto. That factored into having set it aside too.
What's a good goal/target for how much liquid can be run thru a carto?
This is kind of how I was using it too... topping off frequently to restore flavor/vapor production... but sometimes i screwed up and over filled it.
Like I said in another post, I had some last as long as 5 weeks running approx 25-30ml through them. I do know through experimentation, that VG diluted 4/1 will wick extremely well. Bluemist is diluted with ethyl alcohol at approx 5/1 or 15% (roughly)
That's pretty excellent... so at 2 or 3 ml a day, a week or two of use is achievable.
Yup! that's about right. Sometimes I see myself vape 'em all day long (well most of the day) some times justa bit. That is why I stated amount of liquid used vice a flat time line. Thsi liquid used is not my idea, but it made sense at the time wrt a more accurate measure. When I BETA test though, they are in use about 90% of the day. I do have to take a break from testing every know and again.
The amount of liquid used is a great metric for atty/carto life... much better than calendar wall time.
There's still some life in the carto i was using afterall... i've been sipping on it some yesterday and again today... still tastes ok after a good refill.
So are these 2.5ohm or 3ohm? These sound pretty good.... I may have to pick up a few to try on my next order.

I think they're around 2.8 or 2.9ohm, but this particular line has been discontinued. It looks like the 801Fusion carto replaces it in the lineup?

Actually the Gold V1 surpasses it. It intenional design was to constrict enough air flow for to come as close as possible if cigarette simulation, which I'm not sure worked out too well..

Ditto on the Mega Fusion! Best out there (besides the 510 dripper, need those in MEGA, too)!
... I dunno... that might have been a 'there's a pile of 'em on their way to me for beta testing' hmmmm...
All I know is that if they're as good as the Gold V2's drippys, I'm in for some..
... oh, and I'll systematically test and document results ... just sayin'....
