After a week of frustration and eventually hatred toward the 510-T I let it collect dust for a while, giving it no attention whatsoever. Recently I just have not been able to create my usual, awesome poly-fil cartridge "mod", no matter what, when, or how the task is performed. So... I gave the T-atty a bath. Now that I've tried it, I don't mind it. I like it with my Snickerdoodle juice, and the cinnamon bun, but not the waffle. I decided to hook up my waffle, which I have not vaped in over two weeks, to a standard 510 atty and its cart (which is one of the few carts with good poly-fil) and I did not really enjoy it. I am starting to think the inevitable has happened: waffle-flavors are a turn-off now, which has me at a loss. Regardless, I do like the lack of poly-fil and the convenience. However here are my annoyances (nothing is perfect, which I always keep in mind):

+The caps on the tank carts. I already broke two. It is almost impossible to tell the difference between the latch and the hinge. I am refraining from using them in fear that they will either leak or function improperly. I know a syringe would be a life-saver, but the thought of having a syringe with me at all times is not exactly comforting.

+The very airy vapor production. I enjoy a heavier pull on my PVs, which my carts have given me that no other vaping style (cartos, dripping...) has given me. I decided to prime the atty and it worked for a while, but then it became airy. If I prime the atty, the flavor is full and it isa bit of a heavier drag. There is no wicking problem, but it is just airy. I honestly would love this if it was just a tad stronger of a pull. Is there any way to solve this?

The pros are what most would expect: convenience, holds more than my carts, moderately easy to use and deal with, and no filler to deal with.

Thank you all for reading this :) :vapor:

I guess I am a power vaper because I gave my 510t away. it got way too hot for me so I had to constantly set it down and grab another pv... and all the hinges broke on my caps too in a short time. I used it for one juice as it was the only sr atty setup I had. I grabbed some sr boge cartos now for that juice and gave the T setup to a bud

Seriously the caps REALLY annoy me.

There can be found XL flat tip tanks for the 510-T, they hold a bit more juice and their caps don't have those tiny hinges. You just pop off the plastic cup. Downsides I found on them - first they become lose fit sooner than the "original" tanks (not an issue for me, I am rarely dealing with leaks), second - sometimes when I remove a cap with my nails and I don't have a grip on it, it flies away and I learned not to do that above the sink :)

I recently got a 510-T and share all of your frustrations. I initially considered it a waste of money, but after picking it up again, it's grown on me. It's weaker and less satisfying than my Boge crtos, but I found that if I pulled the contact out a bit from the attomizer, and gave the airholes clear space to suck in air, I found the taste was fuller and it produced more vapour. I also found that combining it with my old 501 battery was better. Don't know why - it's the same voltage etc but there you go. I also had some PG liquids that were too high nic for me, but I found these worked quite well in the 501-t, as the hit was not so harsh.
But lordy, does it get hot when I triple vape it. i find not only is the atty too hot to touch, but the heat spreads up through the battery.
Also, the batteries that came with it though are ridiculous, though. They last me about an hour (that's pretty much constant vaping -but still, an hour?).
