5v Battery for my Grand?

I found a lot of my old not-so-good attys came back to life on 4.8v. It seems to heat the atty enough to burn off a lot of old juice. It *will* run hotter, so I wouldn't go with LR attys, but I've used down to 2.0Ω with no problem. Most of the time, I prefer around 2.5-2.8. I like warm, but not hot.

If it will burn juice off an older LR zombie and get it to perform better, wonderful! vaping > Cleaning!

Are there any better chargers for the 4.8V battery. I think it is worth it to have the light turn green when the battery is finished charging. RTD's and Madvapes chargers don't. Thanks

The ones I have have a light on the charger that always stays red, and a light on the wallplug that goes red to yellow to green when fully charged. They sell them at ecigsupply and zikwid, about 10 bucks.

I'm a Cartonaut myself and run 3.0 boges at 5v exclusively on my Grande and love it got my batteries and charger from madvapes

From what I've read from madvapes website is this,

"The LED on these chargers will stay red and not turn green but the battery will be charging. Charges the 4.8 volt NiMH batteries to approximately 5.8 volts after 5 to 6 hours."

It says nothing about if the wall plug has a light just wondering if it does from someone that has them.

Electronicstix.com has some new chargers coming in with smart charging for these batteries. They aren't in stock yet, but he listed them on his site today--so he must be expecting them soon.

Nice looks exactly the same as the one CoV sells. I wonder who will get them back in stock first Know an ETA for the electronicstix one? Definitely going to wait for that charger.

or just stay red when the battery is in?

Mine just stays red but I just put my battery on it and go to bed and pull it off first thing in the am. Usually takes a good charge at about 6 hrs. Been using same 3 batteries since end of July
