My PTs have a permanent home by the PCs I use - at home and work. Both are plugged into 2 amp wall units, and both are used with 510 cartomizers. The PT at work is used with cartos purchased from Eastmall and refilled using the condom method and spin. The home PT sports 510 cartos from nHaler and are refilled by taking the soft-top off and rejuicing. (Followed by a spin). Both work wonderfully, and provide from 3 to 4 hours vaping time before refilling. Once they get low on fluid, they get warm, but I counter that by making a mouthpiece from a silicone cap.

I just got mine from Gp and so far am not at all impressed. My XL batterys work better!

Salem,
Is yours plugged into your PC? If so, you're probably not getting the full monty to power the atomizer. Also if so, a 2 amp "wall wart" USB charger is the way to go here. You can pick one up at Welcome to MadVapes LLC.

I have played around with making them loose/tight. I get off and on vapor but nothing like my XL batteries. They are from Goodprophets. I am going to send them back and maybe I should try one from V4L?
Thanks for the response sooperdave. You have helped me out on several occassions.

glad i can help! to the best of my knowledge, generic 5vPTs are actually only 4.2v. V4L are supposed to be genuine 5v. (not positive about that) what i do know for certain is that if you have a good PT (if nothing is wrong with it or the power source) it should, without a doubt, hit harder than your batts. rob at goodprophets is awesome! have you contacted him about this? im sure he will work something out for you. are your xl batts manual or auto? your wall charger may be weak, or your threads in the charger might be really dirty. try using a q-tip with rubbing alcohol on the charger to clean it.

Yes. Rob said that I could return both. I also got the wall plug adaptor from him. I know that something is not right with them because they really give little vapor. I use manual XL batteries from V4L. I did not even know about 5V P/Ts until another member told me about the ones at GP. I have always received good quality from V4L so I think I will give theirs a try. Thanks again!

if you get one from V4L, get a manual. after 2 returns i finally got an auto passthrough that works right. (third time was the charm) i dont think there are as many problems with manuals. the only issue i have with the ones at V4L is the price. 25bucks. your better off just buying a kit from them that has a PT in it. if you have any issues with a V4L PT they will take care of it, and the warranty is 45 days. cant beat that.
