5v passthru or LR carto + USB PowerPort

I enjoy the passthru experience on 510 cartos to just chill but not always right next to my pc... so I looked for something like this USB PowerPort

I have read about voltage and amperage requirements.. and frankly.. still a bit confused.

This powerport uses 2 x 10440 batteries at 3.6v 500mAh

so can a regular passthru with LR cartos work better or 5v passthru with regular cartos? or will this be a fruitless idea?...

I'd be careful about either of those on that because it doesn't list the USB amperage.

You're gonna want a usb port that can provide at least 2 amps or you're gonna have lessened performance on your 5v passthrough. I think it'd be the same with a LR carto because the amperage requirements of them are similar to standard atty on 5, but I'm not 100% on that bit.
