.....since I ordered my very first baby! This labor is gonna be bad!! About a month or so from what other parents have said. Oh, what am I to do until she arrives??

Also, what does "pr0n" stand for? Just can't figure that out.

To prepare the nursery, I've already ordered and received the batteries (with extra, of course!), a charger, more atties just for her, and am looking around for the perfect case to keep the little darling safe, warm, and snug on outings. The batteries are all charged and ready to go and the atties are lined up, waiting for their neon-pink little sister.

Can you seasoned parents please tell me what-all I need for the layette? I'm still a newb and many things are still a bit foreign to me, such as drip tips and cartomizers....would you please explain these, where to get them, etc? I'm currently using carts with stuffing, but cartomizers sound much more convenient and nice from what I've read. Only the best for baby!

The waiting is gonna be torture! :(

Love your avatar.

The wait probably won't be a whole month. It was at the beginning of the year but in April or May Jeff put in a few marathon weekends. Now it's more like a couple of weeks.

Pr0n - once upon a time, in various fandoms across the Internet, fans were writing naughty stories about the people in their favorite series. There's even thriving communities writing slash about pairings the predate the web (e.g. Kirk/Spock or Holmes/Watson.) Were the members of these communities refer to these stories as p0rnographic, search engines might mistake the sites for X-rated ones. To avoid this, they switched the "r" and the "o."

You didn't say if baby will be a Little Chuck or a regular Chuck? If it's going to be a Big Baby, will you be vaping at 3.7V, 6.0V or higher? I'm on a little Chuck and do 3.7V only. So I don't get into high or low resistance atomizers/cartomizers, etc.

As you bought some new attys, you should definitely consider a couple of drip tips. The day you stop fiddling with Fluval, foam, straws, mesh, etc. is wonderful. When I try dripping down a drip tip, I invariably get a mouthful of liquid when I next inhale (I guess my aim is bad), so I pull off the tip, shove 4-5 drops in, put the tip back and vape away. Your hands never touch the liquid, you're never searching for a tweezer and you don't waste a bunch of liquid that's stuck in the Fluval.

Dripping is actually rather new for me. I've just added it. Cartos are my main love. If you get the ones with the soft, removable tops, you can replace them with drip tips. A 510 carto (I'm assuming that's the connector you ordered) will hold close to 1ml of liquid. I usually get 40-45 drops in although I once managed 60. (ETA: Cartos are more disposable than atomizers are. But at under $2 each, that makes sense. Depending on how many you have in rotation at one time, you usually get 1-3 weeks out of one. You can clean them and try to get one more round of refills. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.)

Sources:
Super T invented drip tips so they truly deserve a plug.
Nhaler can be one-stop shopping. They won't be the cheapest but they do have beautiful drip tips and they carry the atomizers too. Discount code saveinnj will get you 10% off.
Clouds of Vapor is the cheapest place I've found for the same cartos. They carry drip tips but it looks like they've stopped carrying the metal type A & type B from Heaven-Gifts. (If you want those, try Good Prophets.) ETA: COV 10% discount code is bigbuyer. (His carto prices have gone up a bit, but at $7.99 for 5 (minus 10%), it's still a good deal.)

To fill cartos -- the condom method is great but it works better for the KR808 cartos. The threading on the 510 sticks out and the removable top makes that side somewhat impractical as well. I'm using the method doctor_vapor describes at the end of part 2:

Thanks Poeia! I'm getting a Big Baby! I'm sorry to sound so dense (well, I am!), but have no idea if I'll be vaping at 3.7 or 6.0 or what. I've been using a 510 and a generic Ego since March. I've read so much about the awesome Chuck and drooling over the prospect for months, and now it's gonna happen!

I'm going to order some drip tips that you recommended, thank you! Vape on!!

Just a small tip on using the condom fill method on the 510 cartos, yes the threads are in the way a bit however if you turn that carto upside down and fill from the mouth end with the concom fill method this works fine.! Even more simple like said in the thread keep a dripping tip on them and this will alwyas keep em wet enough by dripping.

I haven't tried the drip tips from Nhaler yet -- I bought 10 from China when all that was available was Delrin and metal -- but they sure are purty.

If you are going with the condom method, watch Leaford's Double Demo. He shows it and the Taryn spin. (In the next video down he shows how to empty a carto using the Taryn spin.)
