I almost didn't notice this milestone - lots of other stuff going on 9/11/11. But that was the day that I hit 6 months!

I also have been so busy and distracted that I almost forgot about my celebration trip this weekend... almost... I'm Vegas-bound tomorrow! It's actually only coincidental that it happens to be the same weekend as Vapefest, but I'll at least get to do a walk-through! :)

Thanks to everyone for offering support and help these last 6 months, and HUGE thanks to V4L for making the impossible a reality! After 24 years, it's unbelievable to be able to say that I'm a non-smoker!

Yes indeed....congratulations Krashnash!!!! :2cool:

Wow....it doesn't seem like 6 months, how are you feeling...do you think you can make 1 year? What were the hardest parts or time periods where you had to really fight against crushing cravings?

6 Months in is such a great place to be, the monkey should be off your back, you are now into a pretty comfortable routine and know what you like.

Congrats again....keep up the good fight by smiling and vaping!

Thanks everyone! :) Y'all have helped make the journey much easier! Vegas was fun, but it would have been better if V4L had been represented. I rocked my diamonds all through the vendor displays and was able to smile and nod and politely disagree with the one vendor that felt the need to dis my 808 choice. Met some nice people, tasted some interesting juice and went back down to the tables and helped stimulate the Vegas economy by donating a weeks pay or so. :D Easy come-easy go (just wish it came a little easier). I was more upset about losing my red diamond and purple stealth batts than about losing the $$.

SD, I don't think I'll have any problem making a year +++. I still like to experiment with new flavors and vape toys, but you're right - the routine is now comfortable, and I have my go-to products/juices identified and I'm happier with them than I ever was with cigs.

The hardest time frames for cravings were at the 7-10 day mark and again at about 90 days. I think those were the spots where the other-than-nicotine-addictive-chemicals were leaving my system. I used the tried-and-true tricks of vaping more and higher nic levels and was able to beat them down without too much drama though.
