Well Christmas Eve is my 6 month mark smoke free! Since I will not be home to post, I figured I'd go ahead and post a day early. (After all I don't plan on falling off the wagon tonight) I never thought I would do this, just figured I would be doomed to smoke until it killed me. Now I feel like a different person.

No more coughing, choking, gagging in the mornings. No more wheezing all night in bed. My skin looks better, my teeth are whiter. I can workout, swim under water, and work like never before. I wish I could test my running, but the truth is I quit smoking the same week I fell off a ladder and shattered my left leg. I'm getting there though, maybe I'll get to test that out soon.

Anyway, thanks for your support and advice. Thanks to you guys I found my perfect setup and even got discounts on most of my hardware and juices! Speaking of juice, I'm also down to 6mg nicotine!

(((brandondparris))) Congratulations, I'm so happy for you! Sorry about your leg, that's rough. I know before I quit smoking, I had NEVER run my entire life due to smoking, now I can cruise 5 mile in under an hour, I know not a marathoner but I can't wait to hear how your running goes. Keep in touch!

Oh I do wish I could stay away from ladders. I seem to find myself on one more than not on a daily basis though!!! I prefer using the climbing gear, but sometimes work schedules don't involve getting all decked out. You just gotta man up and face the fear. I was never afraid of ladders until now. I have 3 fractures in my tibia, a broken ankle, 4 fractured tarsals, 3 fractured metatarsals and a torn Achilles tendon to remind me to be careful EVERY DAY!
