6 Volts with New 801 Attys

Before I got my GG I had been using 6 volts and 801 attys. The new 801 attys. have been burning too hot to suite me. I am using the same old batteries. I got my new sedansa atty and I just don't like it at all with 6 volts. I love it with the 3.7V. I also ordered some new 801 that have a high bridge. I don't like those at 6 volts. Is this just me? Are the new atty's just that much hotter or did I just lose my mind?

Can't help you with the answer to that, stormy - haven't gotten my 801 adaptor yet. But that's really disappointing about the Sedanza. That sucker was expensive, wasn't it?

I like it with 3.7 volts. It just seems a whole lot hotter than my old attys. The new high bridge attys are hotter too. I just know I am missing something. I have to be doing something wrong.

I like the 801 with the GG. I use a cart and drip. I never tried it with only dripping or only a cart. I have the Sedansa 801. Do you drip or use a cart?

The only thing I do not like is how long it makes my GG look and I like the tight draw better on the 901.

I was being cheap and I ordered my Sedansa and didn't order the carts because I only dripped with my other 801's. I think this was my big mistake. Maybe I would be happy now if I hadn't been so cheap.

breakfastchef - I have a question for you, I'm not sure if you can answer but it would be helpful to get your opinion.

I have 801 attys from different vendors and I notice that the draw is not consistent between the different vendors. With my 901 and 510 attys the draw is always the same.

I have 2 Rio 801 attys from vapornine that are my favorite cuz the draw is very good - it's not as light and airy as some other 801 attys.

I have some 801 attys from eastmall and vaporcig that have a draw that best describes what sucking through an empty straw feels like. This has definitely turned me off 801 attys.

What type of draw do you get from the 801 bestecig attys? How would you rate them on a scale of being "light and airy"?

I agree that different penstyle attys have different draw characteristics. This may have to do with the number of holes, but also how the atty grabs the battery threads. I have 801's that seem to want to draw additional air through the threads, but cannot if the connection is very close-fitting. The 4072 is a good all-arounder, too.

The BE112 is an easy draw; an 801 from ruyandirect is much firmer. I find the BE112 draws pretty consistently from device to device where the 801 does not. I often will remove the ring at the bottom of the 801's to allow more airflow through them.

Well Tribal my friend - I'm banned from buying at TW, but I just gotta ask - why is there a yucky taste with carts?? Do the cart's filler not go in to the atty's bridge like it should?

Its pushed right in there, theres even a dent in the cart where the bridge was! I guess the 6 volts is just burning it hehe!

well hello again everyone,long time no see..

im proud to say i was the first person ever to be banned from buying from Totally Wicked...last October i think it was.it had really only just opened.

actually it was very easy...a bit too easy really...therapy anyone?
nice to see that others have now also shared the experience...

still,im glad it happened....think of all the money ive saved since then buying from more reasonably priced outlets
