If I could get one I'd let you know. Not really sure if I have the tech. knowledge to build one; let alone finding the parts. If I get one , I'll let you know what works best for me.

Hello everyone

I was wondering how well tank mods work with 6 volts ? I was very disappointed with E2 cartos at 6 volts. I have tried every ohm there is for E2's but 6 volts simply burns the juice too quick that all you taste is primer and/or burnt wick.

Has anyone tried 6v on tank mods ?

I've noticed that even a 3.1 ohm CE2 will start to taste a little burnt at anything over 5v. I run a 2.5 ohm CE2 at 4.2 volts and get about the same vapor as a standard 2.2 ohm joy atty at 5v. Don't know if this will help or not, but a vari-volt mod is the best way to go with CE2's. You can adjust the voltage to get the perfect flavor and vapor.

I have a post here, I think on the second page and in the thag built forum on my learning curves with six volts. I use the 3.2 and do just fine with the map. Couple things to be careful though, use a pair of batts that have a few hours on them already before breaking in your new 3.2. Replace just one batt then alternate. I did that for a day or so then I was okay with using batts right out of the charger. Don't hit the button a long time, shorter hits and more time between each one. The chain vaping doesn't work so well. You need to give it a rest before you hit the button each time. Once you get a feel for the tipping of the tank and the length of button time, it is all good!

The juice plays a key role. Some juice seems to taste burnt easier than others. I vape torque pretty exclusively, to me it just taste different at different voltages but I rarely get a burnt taste though I am accustom to it tasting well done. Then there are other juices that just don't have the sliding cooking scale, anything over certain voltage you just get bleck.
There definitely is a lot of trial and error to getting everything to work together right.
