Your body is getting rid of all the crap that was deposited there by analogs. The cilia that line your lungs are waking up again and doing their job, so this is a normal phase. It could last a few days, it could last a few weeks (YMMV), but it will get better. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water because staying hydrated will help the process go a lot smoother.

Titles really sums it up, I've been off analogs for 60 hours and my lungs feel dried out, tired and sore. I have a bit of a dry cough that leaves my with a wheeze. Is this to be expected? I was expecting to hack a bunch of muck out of my lungs but that hasn't happened yet, in fact I hacked up more muck when I was smoking.

As others have said ... hydrate, Hydrate, HYDRATE. The extra fluids will help keep the dehydrating properties of your niquid at bay and assist in your body's healing process (breaking up that gunk and getting it coughed out of your lungs).

You are not alone with the dry throat and the irritation. I too thought my lungs would feel clearer already. I have what feels like a huge ball of lint in the back of my throat and find myself clearing my throat constantly. I quit 10-10-10 so I'll just ride it out and hydrate like crazy.
Im amazed at how different food tastes already ! Are your taste buds waking up like mine are ??

16 days in and I'm still hacking up stuff. I've not had a problem with dry throat, but I always, ALWAYS have a cup of coffee or tea with me, from when I wake up to when I go to bed. Drink plenty, and drink often. I started out right off the bat with two pulls on the PV and then a sip of coffee/tea/water/whatever, but as usual, your mileage may vary.

If I don't drink plenty of water my lungs feel dried out and I wheeze a bit.

Notice my throat getting rough before that point, so it's not like I don't have a warning sign.

Hydrate - easy to do and may clear it up.
Switch to VG - may help some if you're hydrated.
See a real doctor, not a yahoo like me, if it is troubling.

My first 100% cig free day was 10-10-10 Dragynfly!! So I'm counting from that day:)

I started with 100% VG juice and am having no dryness or coughing. My normal froggy throat is gone. I always had to clear my throat constantly because my voice was raspy. (Well I smoked for 30 yrs) My morning phlegm stopped the by the 3rd day of vaping.

The VG is still a diuretic though. I can tell because I seem to be ...... a lot more than usual! But it seems to be a much milder diuretic that PG from what I've read here:)

Good luck Sir and try another juice and see if that helps!

That's why I have to get up and piss at 2 o'clock in the morning at the age of 28?! Son of .... Well thanks for the input everyone. I ordered some VG juice from Vapor Renu, Root Beer Float and Orange cream, and I'm hoping that will help my lungs. I'm drinking more water now and that does seem to help a bit. I haven't noticed a difference in my taste buds yet. I figured that the moodiness would disappear by now but it seems to be getting worse.

You will be moody for a while, but it will pass too. I don't know what or how much, but there is stuff in cigarettes that acts on the dopamine pathways in the brain. It's why there's such a high incidence of cigarette smoking among people with depression, bipolar, anxiety, and other disorders - they're essentially self-medicating. (Depression and anxiety here.)

If you start to get overwhelmed, or the moodiness becomes too much for you to handle, please please go see a doctor. Your mental health is just as important as your physical health.
