601 Cart Mod

Has anyone tried any cart mods? All I have been doing is cleaning out the filler and refilling, I think the PTB would leak too much.
Has anyone tried anything else?

I've tried the blue foam but all it did was flood the atty. I did find that the original filler wouldn't wick very fast. So the part that touched the atty wick was dry but closer to the bottom of the cart still had tons of liquid. To fix this I cut a q-tip straw so it would go about half way up the cart. Pushed it down along one of the sides until it hit the bottom of the cart. That seemed to fix the slow wick problem. Also I cut a small bit off of the end that goes to the bottom of the cart so there wasn't a flat edge. Hope this helps.

I love the 601 pipe. Just produces tons of vapor but very little flavor.

I've found the blue foam cart filler wicks better than the white stuff that comes in the 601 carts.
