I've noticed twice now that when I had occasion to remove the batteries for a moment and just put the same ones back in, I'm getting more power. Does it help sometimes when it's not time to put fresh batts in just to take the ones you're using out, shuffle them a bit and put them back in?

Does this extra power have to do with the uneven discharge of the 2 batteries, which taking them out and dropping them back in helps to give a more even discharge? Or is all this my imagination?

It could have something to do with it, though honestly i've never tried it. I have noticed when my remote control for the tv goes dead if i switch the batteries around it works again for awhile:)

hmmm I actually mark my batts top and bottom and also number the pair. I then always use the same numbered pair and always keep the top on top and bottom on bottom, I read this a ways back somewhere and it seems to work great have never had a batt problem since stacking them and running them in pairs and they seem to run really good like this
