6v vaping question, batteries

i read somewhere that CR2 batteries when used unregulated to produce 6v can only work with HV atomizers. i really need to know if this is true or not before i buy a 6v mod so i don't burn up my regular attys, or just am unable to vape period. thanks.

It's not that they 'only work with HV attys' but that 6Volts will burn out most regular atomizers. See this chart - post #7:

Basically anything about 8 - 9 Watts can endanger atomizers - 10 and above is asking for it. Some are willing to make the exchange of the more vapor and buying atomizers more often. A variable voltage mod would be more flexible - adjusting voltage to the ohm rating of your atomizers and getting some HV attys to vape at 6 volt when needed.
