@MK... well i am not consistent with my nic level but it ranges from 0-18 depending on the flavor, voltage , and PV

6v atomic fireball 0nic
Carlos JB - 11-12 ish
silver bullet double barrel 11-12 ish
pt or 3.7 mod 11-18

but I think that is what helped me inconsistency of nic AND PV model usage

Congrats Duck! Amazing accomplishment.
I was a heavy smoker and I still vape pretty heavy. I noticed a few months ago that I could (accidentally) go 3 to 4 hours without and not even notice. Happened again this morning, woke up to company and 'forgot' about my ecig until a couple hours later. I still use 2-3 ml. of 18-30 mg. , only use 3.7 volt. Who would have ever thought....

U\Duck, you may have nailed it! I vape between 11mg and 0nic. Most of the time I don't know which is which because I mix flavors and add glycerin. Maybe by switching around my body just gave up caring...lol!

firsts its the body then its the mind :p

Update: Im still having one vape session, and that's in the evening when the wife and kids are asleep :D....Now that the weather is getting nice.. I either go for a quick drive and vape with my PT or kick it out in the porch looking at the stars (Ironic, isn't it :p )

No plans as of now to make the full jump... I am sort of liking my routine for the time being :D

I'm starting tomorrow :) Going to be trying for a 2 week period like you soon intend to.

I'll be allowing myself to vape some 0nic if i need to, but i'll be trying to keep that too a minimum.

Definately keep us updated... and if you acheive success(even though the attempt is success as well) , by all means create a thread of your own as well :D

of course proved a link here.. so I don't miss it :D

Good Luck

At first I vaped constantly, but now I only do it certain times of the day. I'm not vaping now and probably won't until hot chocolate time a couple hours from now.

My longest stint (hours) is when I’m with friends that still smoke or when I play cards.

I’m pretty sure I could quit without any trouble, but, at least right now, don’t see me giving it up. I still enjoy it too much.

Congrats on the milestone.

Hey duck, i was wondering how difficult you found it? I've just about finished my 3rd day in with no nicotine, and very little vaping (NoNic) in comparison to my usual day. I've some minor cravings, mainly after waking up but apart from that it has been extremely easy for far.

I can understand why you still vape, you do miss it. I'll be going the full length but i'm sitting here thinking how much i'd enjoy a nice vape right now. I mean this could be seen as a craving, but i don't feel the urge to vape, it's just i would like too lol.

It's still early days but i feel i'm in control of my nicotine addiction but time will tell :)

I am amazed that it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be... not saying it wasn't hard.. just thought it would be worse....

No real craving and I really can't explain how it happened :p

I have been from time to time.. recently skipped my alloted vape session. but I am just going about it naturally and not forcing anything... I still want to blow plumes from time to time :D

I think I should have this e-pipe stitched to my lower lip......

That is really good news that you are able not to vape any more. My hat's off to you. I was hoping for a transition from the dark world of cigarette smoking into the fresh air. I'm a habitual.....everything. But the way my truck smells now, after all those analogs I smoked, how did I stand it? Looks like quitting smoking is going to cost me a new truck.

Duck, you are the water fowl I hope to be someday.

Ed.

I forgot about this thread :D

well I know I can limit my vape sessions, but recently I have been vaping more, but at lower nic-0nic levels.... the reason is I am still addicted to HARDWARE :D and I am testing alot out... I plan on getting a few more vids of my ugly mug and my views of the particular hardware...

BUT the main point of these vapefastings is to prepare myself for if/when that time comes that I am ready to make the full leap...... a test of wills if you will :D

thanks for the support and it's GREAT to know that some will/are/thinking about trying it as well........ and for those of you that aren't even wanting to try that is GREAT as well.... vape ON vape OFF either way we can't deny the effect of this new "lifestyle" has on each and everyone of us...
